We visited this restaurant after reading good reviews on Tripadvisor. It was a short walk from the Holiday Inn and we prebooked on a Saturday evening which was good as every table was taken by 8.30pm. The restaurant is very attractive and we were greeted by a charming waitress who offered us an English language menu. There is a relatively small choice which is good as it usually means that the food will be fresh and well prepared. Likewise the wine list was relatively short but obviously carefull chosen as all the choices looked good - and there is the option of house wines which were popular. We had afabulous salmon slad to start which was huge and so shared it between us! The steak I had was among the best I have ever eaten with home-made fries which were delicious. It is clearly known for its steak as the majority of tables seemed to be having this. My wife had pork which she enjoyed. We only had room for ice cream for dessert. The service was excellent - courteous, unhurried and helpful. The cost was very good for the amount of food and quality plus a very good bottle of wine - 64 Euros. Overall a really good experience and one of the best meals we have ever had in France.
