I managed to secure this property at the last minute and was a little apprehensive, as I was taking my wife and 3 children to stay in Le Touquet for the first time. We hadn't wanted to brave the usual summer airport hassles and thought, taking the car over the ferry sounded a much more relaxed option. We had wanted to to go to Nantes originally but had left things a little late to secure any of the preferred properties. Anyway, we arrived in Le Touquet a little earlier than anticipated and contacted Louis the owner of Jessie's House who asked us to come up anyway.
We arrived to find Louis and his assistant, Emilie, putting the finishing touches to their preparations to welcome us to the house. The house was pretty, clean and cute and as we walked past the swimming pool to get indoors, I breathed a sigh of relief, listening to the children's squeals of joy. Between my bad French and Louis' passable English, the handover was swiftly concluded and we were soon ensconced in our French hideaway for what turned out to be a fantastic holiday, with festivals, horse-riding, walking by the sea, plenty of lovely French cuisine in an abundance of restaurants and frolicking in the pool!
Le Touquet was a pleasant discovery for me and my entire family and the lovely accommodation and from which we explored the place helped make this a really enjoyable trip for all concerned. Certainly be going back!
