We normally stay at Le Manoir but this had been fully booked by our European cousins from Belgium so we tried the sister hotel Bristol in central Le Touquet. The hotel is not elegant but good value, clean and has good facilities: good bar and outside courtyard area, TV room, secure off-street parking, walking distance to the town centre. The negatives would be the lack of staff - the receptionist usually doubles as the bar person, the rooms are clean but institutional, and, as other reviewers have commented, the breakfast is poor. Fruit juice from a machine, plastic tasting croissants, the coffee was bitter and stewed and the ambience was not helped by one of the elderly French guests attending breakfast in her dressing gown. Not a pleasant sight at 7:30 in the morning!

This was a golfing trip so was reasonable value for the event. I'm not sure I'd want to go there again with a partner. Back to Le Manoir next year.

I really like this hotel. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed there and we were not disapppointed.

The best feature is its location - hundred metres or so in one direction to the promenade and beach; hundred metres in the other direction to the market place and main street for restaurants, bars and interesting shops. The hotel rooms are pleasant without having any wow factor. The staff are friendly and efficient. There is secure car parking on site (extra charge) - you get your own allocated spot.

Negative points. Nothing really significant. No safe in the room ( this really should be remedied); very little in way of shelf or drawer space (a common hotel problem); free wifi available but really only works well in public areas - very hit and miss in room. The breakfast is pretty average.
.
Would definitely stay here again

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the front courtyard

I'm not sure why this hotel is 3 star rated!
Although well located, the reason we booked it, the room facilities leave a lot to be desired and the breakfast was the poorest I've ever experienced in France!
Our room faced the courtyard and was a good size, but there was no screen or curtain for the shower which meant the floor was sodden after every shower. There was no hair dryer, shaver point or coffee facilities - basics one gets in any 2 star hotel.
The breakfast was the worst I've ever been presented with in France. There was only continental - no problem - but SPAM and two poor processed cheeses was ridiculous! Fortunately there was bread and croissants, but to actually charge double figures for this was insulting.
The staff were reasonably pleasant but not particularly welcoming and when I asked about wifi connection in the room I was told it "worked in some rooms and not others" although it was stated it was available.
Will certainly never use this hotel again!

We stayed for two nights this week and chose the hotel from reports on Trip Advisor and also a personal recommendation.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the town centre with all it's restaurants etc. We prebooked the hotel secure car park which at €8 per day was well worth it even though street parking is available right outside the hotel. I believe prebooking is pretty essential as it gets full quickly.

It's hard to fault the hotel for service, cleanliness, location and friendliness even though the younger of the female receptionist who doubles as the bar person needed the usual personality transplant many French hotel staff suffer from. Everyone else was charming.

Golf as Le Manoir is only a few minutes drive away and easy to find.

We had a twin deluxe which was adequate. The room wasn't large but O.K . Bathroom towels are small and the shampoos etc minimal. The hotel did what many do and not replace toiletries on the second day which is very annoying indeed. Only a small point but annoying none the less if you haven't bought your own (which many men don't).

The bar area is very good indeed with plenty of comfortable seating and good for groups with a TV lounge adjacent so you won't miss any important sporting event (England v Italy, groan)

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the hotel which does exactly what is says on the bottle.

Room Tip: We had a twin deluxe which was adequate. The room wasn't large but OK Bathroom towels are small...

This hotel is ideally located. At walking distance of the small shopping streets and restaurants and also at walking distance of the sea.
There is limited reserved parking of the hotel, but parking enough in the streets around the hotel (for a fair daily price).
The hotel is fairly small and simple, but very clean and comfortable, with friendly staff.
Breakfast (12 EUR pp) is reasonable. D'ont expect breakfast as in the 'bigger' hotels. This is a simple and fair breakfast (with very good croissants!).
Lobby, hall en bar are bit outdated but still charming, the rooms are modern and clean. You have many categories of rooms. We used the 'economy' one.
When we stayed there were many mini-concerts in the commercial streets, but we didn't have any noise-problem in the hotel or room (had a room with a view on the central terras).

The Bristol is ideally located in a quiet street only a few hundred yards from the sea front and from the main shopping and restaurant area of Le Touquet. You can therefore walk easily to the main facilities of the town centre and beach.
The hotel is fairly small and simple, very clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and reasonably prices.
Breakfast is a good continental, there is no dinner, but a wide range of excellent cafes and restaurants are very close by.
Parking is a bit tight on the road outside or in limited spaces in the hotel parking.
I would strongly recommend this hotel for a short stay or golf break in Le Touquet.

A centrally located hotel, close to the beach and town centre with friendly staff, good size and very clean rooms that doesn't break the bank. This hotel proved to be an excellent base for a golfing break that seemed to suit all the varied needs of our party - the only exception being that we could not get any of the hotel car parking bays so had to rely on spaces in the street. Breakfast was the standard continental style but quite adequate and the bar was always open when we needed it and on one occasion re-opened with no complaints when a few of us returned late seeking further "refreshment".
