I stayed here recently for two nights, with my wife and children, and another couple and their children. And what a lovely stay it was, I wished we could have stayed longer. The children absolutely loved sleeping on the bed on the mezzanine level, and virtually lived in the swimming pool. There was a very handy first floor outdoor tennis court, right near our room. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the bathroom very clean, with a separate W.C. The breakfast choice was unbelievably varied. We didn't sample the hotel restaurant, but I'm sure it would've been just as great as the rest of the hotel. A first class hotel, with staff to match. Superb.

The name Holiday Inn didn't raise my expectations but a great place. Bit hard to find with the Satnav but very nice hotel, great pool, great staff and they do duplex family rooms (stairs to a room above that over looks the bedroom) and you can easily get a young family of 5 in there. Kids allowed in the jacuzzi, breakfast is a very good buffet, pool table, tennis court, arcade games but very nicely presented. 10 minute walk into the very nice town. No aircon but really recommend it.

Room Tip: Go for the duplex. There are a lot of rooms right off the main corridor and reception which might be...

Stayed here for two nights on a break with our seven year old son, as I had a meeting a meeting in Boulogne and wanted to add in some family time. A lovely, clean hotel in a really lovely setting, just a short walk from the main town. Room was spotless, facilites great and our son loved having his own space in the mezzanine - a refreshing change from the usual z-bed you usually get in a family room. we didn't eat in the restaurant, but breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. The tennis court and pool were welcome attractions - although beware losing tennis balls on the roof (we lost two...!). Definitely one to return to, and we look forward to visiting again. the one thing i would say is to bring towels if using pool facilities (or better still if the hotel could provide) as we ended up having to use hotel room towels, which we only jusst drid for use with showers!

Room Tip: for a family room, those with a mezzanine floor are excellent. I can't comment on others, but no...

Stayed here for one night with my family en route from Calais to Disneyland Paris. What a pleasant find. The rooms were fantastic with our children (aged 10 and 7) sleeping on the mezzanine floor of the room - they could not have been more excited. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The bathroom products provided were excellent which was a huge surprise. The breakfast had a huge variety and was delicious. Best of all had to be the staff at reception would were friendly and helpful and very welcoming.

Stayed here for a short break for the second year running. Hotel even better this time. Staff without exception were really friendly, really helpful, and efficient. As before, the room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet and it was nice to be upgraded (Platinum card holder). Restaurant was again excellent and the service was impeccable. The hotel is two minutes' drive to the town centre and there's easy, safe parking outside. Holiday Inn is not as grand a hotel as one or two in the town and it is a little corporate and clinical. But it's reliable, you get what you're promised and as far as we were concerned we had everything we wanted or needed. Just a little more sunshine would have been nice!

We've stayed here half a dozen times over recent years, and our chidren (10 and 11) love the grounds and the swimming pool.

As noted elsewhere this is not a cheap hotel, but the duplex rooms for family of four work really well, especially the larger ones with balconies. This has more of a feel of a business venue, hence other comments about it being a bit sterile. We've not been too concerned about this, other than wanting to sample some of the corporate snacks as we've passed by!

Yes, it is a bit of a walk into town, but an enjoyable and relaxing stroll. Le Touquet has a nice feel to it, and a great beach. Also worth exploring inland is one of our favourite towns Montreuil-sur-Mer, about a 20 minute drive away and well worth a visit.

Dinner at The Picardy for us is convenient, and it is worth upgrading on the menu if you're on a demi-pension. If there for two nights or more there's plenty of choice in town and the Maitre De of the restaurant is good to talk to about alternatives.

The bar staff are great as are those in the restaurant. The front desk is efficiently run but a little stiff, with no particular attention paid to Priority Club members. Breakfast is great, we always baulk at the bill but keep coming back which probably says it all.

Room Tip: Go for the larger Duplex ones

Dear Mr Stone,
Thank you for your comments and especially for your loyalty to our hotel.
We regret that you were disappointed by the front desk staff as Priority Club Member and assure you that we consider your feedback to better serve you in the future.
You enjoyed the quality of meals served in our restaurant "Le Picardy" by choosing the half board pension and we are delighted.
Hope to see you again at the Holiday Inn Resort Le Touquet.

Situation of hotel very convenient : very quiet and surrounded by trees, and yet only a 10 minutes walk away from the center. Staff is very polite and customer-oriented ; rooms are OK.
Only minuspoint, but an important one is the unconfortable high room temperature at night because of lack of an airconditioning system.
