We selected Le Jardin looking for a place to celebrate my birthday. The outdoor terrace located next to the main building, was the only available reservation for our group (we booked the same day). It was completely covered, since the evening temperature didn't really allow open air dining. One big draw back: the heating system, although providing a cosy warmth, was at times very noisy. This did distract from the overall atmosphere. I'm sure once outdoor temperatures are high enough the cover opens up. The terrace overlooks a patch of grass and a busy round point, but that was just far enough to not disturb. Service was excellent, swift and correct.
We were 5 and had a variety of dishes. I heard no negative comments, everyone really like the food (special note for the fabulous oysters). I had a foie gras with speculoos crust as starter (not PC but fantastic taste) and shared the steak-bearnaise, 1kg of prime beef for two, which was outstanding. The wine list is quite large, with bottles ranging from 25 to 300+ EUR. You can also get wine by the glass. For a full dinner expect to pay at least 50EUR, depending on the wine you choose, which I think is a fair price for the quality of food and service provided.
We did not see an annoying photographer running around (as described in one of the reviews below). There is (street)parking in front of the building. I would score the outdoor seating higher if it weren't for that noisy heater overhead. This is not a flip-flop "straight from the beach" type of restaurant, but a jacket and tie are also not expected.
I recommend this restaurant, and would return.
