We visitet the restaurant back when it was rather new. The food was fine and they had a young music band playing from a lokal school. Very nice.

“Very nice dinner”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

We celebrated our 2nd anniversary there and we are very happy with the food there as well as the service.
We chose this restaurant becoz of the ranking here and also we want to try the fish dish that shown in the menu.
The owner there is very friendly, he lets us try the drink he recommended before we order it. He also teaches us how to eat the fish which is super nice for people who hasn't eat a fish that served in whole piece.
The food is as good as we expected.
Just dont understand why there wasn't much customer (only us inside)

“A gem waiting to be discovered”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

Soenderborg has its fair share of restaurants but Passagen stands out. We hesitated to walk in as there were few guests but encouraged by the other Tripadvisor reviews we did. We were not disappointed. The owner Yousra is a most engaging man and made us immediately feel welcome. We let him decide on the menu as we did not want any of the standard fare. We started of with Brick a l'oeuf. It is a thin crispy pancake with an egg inside. It is light and with a squirt of lemon it is delicious. As a main cours he recommended Bifteck de veau Maure. It was an excellent piece of meat with a delicious harissa sauce. The latter was spicy but just about right. As Yousra said: perfect for tourists! The piece of meat was huge and we would probably been happy with half the size. In any case we ate it all.The fresh vegetables complemented the whole perfectly. As a desert we had a Luxus Is. Apparently icecream locally made and all the better for it. All in all a really good culinary experience. The restaurant has been going for just under two years and business had been slow to start off with. Given the choice of restaurants in the centre of Soenderborg that is understandable but Passagen really deserves its success. I heartely recommend it especially for people who want to eat something slightly different and are particular about the quality and freshness of their food.

“Cosy Experience”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

I periodically visit this place with a friend over a bottle of wine to relax after work. The service is excellent as is the atmosphere. It's also close to the harbor. I usually order either steak, chicken or fish. The size of meals is quite large, so it's good if you have a nice appetite. I can recommend this place and what makes it special in my oppinion is the friendly service.

“Excellent food and good service”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

I had to be honest about that the food taste fabulous, It is the only restaurant that serves popular food - old recipies both from Denmark and the country around the Mediterranean, especial y France, Greece and Tunisia... And the worker are nice and speaks different foreigner languages, so the customer does not have to be expert in Danish, and the prices are low, taking account the food high standard of the products they use to produce food, the quantity and the service... They make food only after ordering – so the customer has always fresh and tasty food!
