The room was fine, small, and the bed surprisingly comfortable with very good bedding. The hotel is very basic, but fine for 1 night. We were there to transfer to another flight in the morning. The "shuttle" service to and from the airport is ridiculous. It runs in the morning and stops at something like 10:30....then starts again late afternoon...So for our flight which arrived at noon, no shuttle. We had to take a taxi which ended up costing almost 1/3 of the price of the hotel! So just beware.

To get into Brussels center, you can walk about 10 minutes down the road to the train station which takes you to the central station. From there it is an easy walk to the Grande Place.

We ate dinner in Brussels, and I did not notice a lot (any?) restaurants around the hotel itself. Pretty isolated, although there are other airport hotels in the area. We had breakfast at the airport lounge.More
