Not much to see hear. They look much better from far away. Now, they serve as a passage from upper to lower part of the path around the lakes. Sturdy stairs, not so sturdy fence.

The cave tour took about 45 minutes, and that was at a snail's pace given by a completely disinterested guide at a premium price $100 kuna for two (I think). I suppose if you haven't ever seen a cave before it could be interesting. But we had, and it wasn't. There is nothing remarkable about the experience - I wouldn't recommend spending the time or money.

200 metres.... You can also spot some tiny tiny bats inside.... This is a time filler of a place to see... Unless you are really really enthusiastic about caves, or haven't seen that many caves before, then you will not be all together wow-ed by this one.
It helps that the guide rushed us through it because he squeezed us in before closing up for the day!

Guide was excellent and luckily the tour was in English. Quite a walk from where you park your car, also to the cave entrance, and the 7/8 km road to the caves is very narrow in places.
Coming from near the UK Peak District we are probably spoilt for limestone caves of more interest than these, so maybe we are slightly biased.

We found this via our Hotel, its takes a while to get there, we had a good guide, spoke english well, knew his stuff, we have see lots of caves around the world, every case is different for various reasons, the same here...for the sake of an hour ,you should see,
