Stayed here for 3 nights August bank holiday. Very laid back relaxed atmosphere. Dog friendly but still nice and clean. No complaints with the room except would have liked a kingsize bed because that is what I am used to.The breakfasts were excellent, especially the bacon which was more like a gammon steak! Also plenty to choose from and we didn,t need to eat again until the evening!
Plenty of places to visit in surrounding area. We went to Ross, Herefordshire, Hay on Wye.
On the negative side Thatch close is very secluded perhaps a bit too much for us as we had to drive if we wanted to go out at night and the lanes were surrounded by high hedges and very narrow lanes that went on for about 3 miles. This is only our view and if you dont mind staying in a remote location in a place with plenty of character I would recommend it!More
