“Good car park but a bit isolated - easy to get to Barnt Green for trains to Birmingham”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

A couple of days stay here. Typical Premier Inn fayre although rooms were cold on a cold day and I could not get them to warm up quickly with the small heater. as always the pub next door sold typical comfort food and was reasonably inviting. Around and about is a bit spartan. it's not in Bromsgrove centre and you can't really walk anywhere since it is on the busy Birmingham Rd. There is a David Lloyd next door and then building in progress for flats so it is a bit souless - not even a MacDonalds or supermarket on the site.

what was good is that you can quickly sneak through some back roads to Barnt Green train station in about 15 minutes. There is free parking and trains to Birmingham every 30 minutes.

We usually stay in 4 and 5 star hotels, and were curious as to how the Premier Inn would compare. We were very pleasantly surprised with what we found. Check in and out were efficient, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was well designed and immaculate. The towels were clean and branded toiletries were provided in pump dispensers. We all had a great night's sleep too, as promised. Are those rooms sound proofed?

The food at The Guild wasn't great, but the Premier Inn was exceptional. We've paid much more for far less. We'll definitely be back!

This Premier Inn is only 5 minutes from our daughter's and we stayed there Xmas Eve and Xmas night and it was excellent. The hotel was refurbished last July and the result is the best example of the genrte we have experienced.

Outstanding value at £29 a night, plus we could take our retired guide dog with us.

Will definitely stay again

Room Tip: At a budget hotel especially always ask for a room on the quiet side of the hotel as they always hav...

The staff at this Premier Inn were very helpful when my son became ill with gastroenteritis during the stay. They helped me phone NHS direct, looked after him while I was at the supermarket getting essentials and were very good with us the 8 days we were they. I recommend this hotel. Thanks to everybody involved!

We selected this premiere lodge as it was a half way between Yorkshire and Devon.Easy access from the motorway. A base to meet with family and next to the Guild where we enjoyed a lovely meal.A very warm welcome by reception ,offered to book a table at the pub. Room very clean, towels fresh ,bed so comfortable , everything we needed for a good nights sleep. Enjoyed breakfast at the Guild before leaving next day. Will return !

Stayed here one night on as a journey break as we were travelling on to Cornwall. Very impressed with the customer service we received in reception< thank you Danielle. We were travelling with our daughters so had 2 rooms, both the usual Premier inn standard: comfortable, clean and very good night's sleep. Would definitely stay here again as a convenient spot to access M42 and M5 from.
Our rooms faced the David Lloyd Fitness Centre at the back so were very quiet.
We ate at The Guild and have written another review for that, but service and ambience there was very good.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking David Lloyd Centre are quiet.
