Having just been on a return visit to this Pub Resterant my thoughts were is it going to be as good as the last, having only just been referbished and taken over by new owners, well it was and the food was still up to avery good standard.
The staff operated very efficently and worked very hard. It would be well advised to book before you go there though as it seems to be very popular at the moment. Value for money in this establishment and comfortable atmosphre and asI say well worth a visit, good beer as well.

Visited this pub following a recommendation and found the value absolutely incredible. Meals are priced at 2, 4, 6 or 8 pounds. A friend had a £4 fish & Chips and was well pleased while the wife had a £6 Lasagne. It was so big she failed to finish it.. I opted for a £6 mixed grill which was more than adequate. We went back a week later and I pushed the boat out by trying an £8 Mixed Grill. It was enormous and should have come on a tray rather than a plate. Her indoors tried a cock & bull which was chicken & steak and she said it was excellent.

Gets busy between 6pm and 7 as people come in for meals which are quite frankly cheaper than you could make at home. Sweets are only £2 which is half the price of most places. They don't skimp on the portions though. This pub is a breath of fresh air in an industry which sometimes sticks a fancy name on a dish and then adds a fancy price.

This is good honest pub food at unbelievable prices and I wish them every success.. They also have guest beers like Speckled Hen, Wadsworth 6X & Bombardier to supplement the usual pub range of ciders & lagers. My only regret is that they do not have any outlets in the NE of England.

The Greyhound in Bromsgrove is part of a chain of restaurants called the 2 4 6 8 so called because the menue costs £2 £4 £6 or £8 depending on what you order, I must confess I have never heard of this chain but the concept is brilliant

My husband chose from the £8 menue and had lamb shank which just fell off the bone and was delicious, he upgraded to cheesy chips and had onion rings as a side order so his total was £10

The rest of us chose from the £4 menue, the other couple had Cottage pie with jacket potatoe and fish with chips, I had fish with jacket, the fish already came with peas and a wedge of lemon and as with all of the menues (excpt £2 menue) you choose how you want your carbs eg mash, chipped, jacket potatoe, or rice, There is a wide choice on all of the price range

You could also choose a starter and dessert at extra cost but I personally found that the main course was quite filling anyway so we didn't feel deprived at not having extras

I had asked for a table for between 7.30 - 7.45 but was asked to come at 8pm, we were a little early but the table was ready anyway even though the restaurant was very busy. The staff were friendly and helpful the food good and plentiful and I have discovered that there is another of this chain much nearer to where we live so we will give that a try as well

On this our first visit I would thoroughly recomend it, if you don't want to eat you can just stay in the pub area for a drink but at these prices the food is so good that I suggest that you give it a try
