“Just what you need after a maniac week”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

I visited this restaurant after really rubbish week at work and preparing for Christmas. To be honest I was shattered and not in the best mood.

The restaurant was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly.

The menu had the age old favourites such as Korma and Jalfrezi, but also lots of dishes that I had not heard of before. I also loved the colour coding on the menu which was very easy to see how spicy a dish was blue for mild to crimson for extremely hot.

I ordered a mild lamb curry and it was fabulous, with the best Naan bread I had ever had. Hubby had a special curry , with veg pilau rice - he too enjoyed the meal.

We had a mixed meat platter for starters and that was lovely too.

The manager was really friendly and was very encouraging talking about how he felt it was important to have fresh produce and to mix their own freshly roasted spices.

By the way they do lovely coffee too.

Overall a good meal, good atmosphere and good staff.

“Delicious Cuisine”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

I visited AgraFort with my husband and we had a pleasant experience. The food tasted delicious and the staff were very friendly too. There's lots to choice from from starters, to mains to desserts and even drinks. I'd recommend the Jafflong Chingri and the Bombay Style Naaga!!

“Best Indian Restaurant”
Reviewed December 17, 2012

Simply the best Indian Restaurant we have been too.
Very nice inside, separate bar area to have a drink before your meal.
Excellent food, real differences in taste and quality to your average Indian Restaurant.
All of the staff were really pleasant and certainly did all they could to help us enjoy the evening. Even offering to provide off the menu items.
Excellent all round, we will be back. Thanks.

“Fantastic fresh flavours”
Reviewed December 12, 2012 via mobile

I love a nice curry, and consider myself something of an expert. The food at the Agra Fort is amazing! Fresh, lots of coriander, lots of flavour.

The lamb chop starter is highly recommended. They do a great Jalfrezi, and a Naga special with a lively kick! Unusually their delivery fayre is just as good as the meals in the restaurant.
