I visited this restaurant after really rubbish week at work and preparing for Christmas. To be honest I was shattered and not in the best mood.
The restaurant was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly.
The menu had the age old favourites such as Korma and Jalfrezi, but also lots of dishes that I had not heard of before. I also loved the colour coding on the menu which was very easy to see how spicy a dish was blue for mild to crimson for extremely hot.
I ordered a mild lamb curry and it was fabulous, with the best Naan bread I had ever had. Hubby had a special curry , with veg pilau rice - he too enjoyed the meal.
We had a mixed meat platter for starters and that was lovely too.
The manager was really friendly and was very encouraging talking about how he felt it was important to have fresh produce and to mix their own freshly roasted spices.
By the way they do lovely coffee too.
Overall a good meal, good atmosphere and good staff.
