Stayed here for two nights to attend a family wedding. Great value (booked and paid for on-line in NZ dollars). Room spacious, clean and comfortable, staff excellent and friendly. Also recommend the breakfast for two for two nights at GBP15.

My wife and I have stayed at the Holiday inn, Bromsgrove three times during 2013 and for several days each time.

We found the location to be rural and pleasant (overlooking hills and wildlife) and ideal for daily trips we needed to make to the south Birmingham area. The rooms are modern and clean. Parking is plentiful. Free wifi in bar/lounge.

The staff are attentive and very personal. Restaurant food (breakfast and dinner) is good. The gym is very well equipped (compared with many hotels we have stayed in) and there is an indoor pool.

We are also exploring the hotel as a possibility for our cousin who will be marrying in due course.

Our latest visit was during the unseasonally hot weather during July 2013. This hotel has efficient air conditioning in the bedrooms (unlike another major chain hotel in the area that one would have expected much more from).

It is unusual for us to keep going back to the same hotel but we would have no hesitation with this one. We are from Birmingham but now live in the USA and travel widely and we rarely give feedback as good as this.

We stayed here for one night whilst attending a wedding. The hotel was clean and centrally located.

The bed was comfortable with tea and coffee facilities in the room. The room however was very small. It had an iron and ironing board and hairdryer.

Breakfast was great with wide selection if foid, freshly cooked.

All in all reasonably good value for money, and would use again for an overnight stay.

We had to visit family for the weekend and searched the nearest available hotel.
This hotel was perfect as it was only 1.8 miles to our relatives.
Allthough we went for a cheaper hotel, we found it to be very good with friendly staff and ample parking.
The rooms were much bigger than we expected and included facilities for teas and coffee.

we arrived late in the afternoon and were quite hungry and allthough the restaurant was very smart I must confess that we were put off by the prices and decided to go to the local pub to have a meal .
Its a shame that these establishments do this as it would have been much better if we could have relaxed in the hotel restaurant.
We also noted that the bar was almost empty on both the evenings that we stayed there (Sturday and Sunday evening).
we would use this hotel again as we were generally impressed overall.

Thanks for your comments, they will be passed on. We always use fresh, locally produced ingredients for our menu at the hotel, so in some cases you may pay a little more than other similar hotels. However, we believe should you try the food, you will certainly enjoy it!!!

The bar is generally quiet on a Saturday night as many of our guests are visiting friends and family or going to other weddings offsite, unless attending one of ours in the main private function suite.

We hope you return soon

Thank you

I travel all around the country on business and have stayed in some good and some bad hotels but I must say this hotel is the best, being set in just on the outskirts of Bromsgrove gave me easy access to kidderminster Worcester and Birmingham. The rooms are fresh and clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I used the gym and the pool which after a hard days work which was a great, The Health suit staff are friendly and helpful. We have just arrived home from a 4 night stay in a family room. The hotel is definitely worthy of a 4* compared to the 3* we stayed in at Lichfield. The communal areas such as the lounges, reception and changing rooms to the pool were very clean. Our room was very nicely decorated and clean. It was much more spacious than we had anticipated and the air conditioning was a bonus. We were also impressed by the quality of the furniture, it wasn't the usual basic furniture. There was plenty of room to store everything. The breakfast was what we had expected, no disappointment. We didn't eat at the hotel in the evenings and opted out to sample food in some local restaurants instead. We can recommend the Navigation Inn which is only about ten minutes drive. This hotel was a great base for us to visit attractions such as Cadbury World and West Midland Safari Park. The only fault I can honestly say was to do with other guests. We found this hotel to be very business person orientated. As wifi was only available free of charge in the communal areas, most nights the lounges looked more like offices. It could sometimes be intimidating to sit there. We were lucky our 2 children are older. I can imagine smaller children making a bit of noise would have been frowned upon. It would be worthwhile allocating a space or room specifically for business people freeing up the lounge area for other guests enjoyment. I appreciate that a significant amount of guests were in fact business people and that their needs should also be satisfied. Would definitely recommend and return to in the future.
