Wednesday is all you can eat burger and hot dog night. The pub was very busy and this particular buffet nights seems to draw in the kids so avoid if children running around isn't your thing. Refillable drinks may sound like a good idea but again kids running back and forth refilling every two seconds doesn't add to the appeal. The food was ok, very average though. Chips were cold and onion rings overdone. The salad bar seemed to have jaundice as everything with mayo on it, potato salad and coleslaw, was bright yellow!!

I have been to The Guild quite a few times over the last couple of years and have enjoyed every visit. The food is good and the staff work really hard. Love the buffet nights. Will be back soon.

We usually have lunch here when we visit my husband's elderly aunt. Today we visited and noticed the new "buffet" section, which the kids had and enjoyed. All our meals were well cooked and tasty and the waitress was very pleasant. The fish and chips was delish. The pub is very clean with a nice atmosphere and i would recommend it for families. There is a soft play area.

Had never been to this pub before but my other half suggested going there for a meal. There was a choice of either ordering from the menu or a buffet. we opted for the buffet seeing as it was chicken night. The food was lovely & the dessert even better. Would recommend this pub to anyone.

We visit a few times each year. It's ideal for family get togethers, as the food is swift, there's a decent range, and the soft play means the children have got a good distraction while the adults can chat uninterrupted.

It's a chain pub, so don't expect a restaurant level of service (or even someone bringing the bill to your table!) or a restaurant quality of food. But even so, it's better than the oozy-cheesey offerings that chain pubs used to restrict themselves to.

There are regularly offerings on their website (free puddings etc), but you need to remember to print vouchers in advance.
