“Excellent hosts, beautiful house”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

The Wellington lodge was a very welcoming sight after a stressful journey. The hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely weekend. The breakfast was excellent and the room was beautiful. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bromsgrove you've found it.

We stayed B&B at this guest house whilst walking the Birmingham to Worcester Canal. It was a little distance from the canal (1.7 miles) but the accommodation, food, ambience and attention by the owners was superb. We ate at Zingas indian restaurant - which was rather noisy but the food was the best of it's type we had eaten and we will go back. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and stay again. Thankyou.

Room Tip: The house was in a quiet road. We had a lighter room with a double bed which was lovely, our friend...

Stayed at the wellington Lodge for one night with my wife and one night on my own. The room was very comfortable and had a Super King size bed. Being a very bad sleeper I had two good nights sleep. The breakfast has everything you would want and was very tasty.
If we visit Bromsgrove again we will definitely stay here.

Yet again the Wellington Lodge doesn't disappoint. It's our 3rd time here and it's great for our business trips. Ros the owner is friendly and welcoming and the breakfast table has everything and more you could wish for. The room is still as lovely as ever and very comfortable. We'll be back next year.

Can't knock this B&B at all!! Stayed there with my husband in September 2011 for two nights (went for a wedding, rest of guests were staying at the local Travelodge). The landlady was just gorgeous!!! Very welcoming, full of hospitality, even gave us a lift for free to the local restaurant!!!

The room was beautiful...we were the first to use this particular room, it has a little corridor which our bathroom was off. Very stylish indeed, incrediably comfortable. The furniture was so grand and the materials lovely. Choice of teas & coffee in the room with bottled water, a little fridge with fresh milk and more water!!

The bathroom was huge with a gorgeous bath and a separate shower unit. All very clean and hygenic!!!!

The breakfast, well, it was all set out and made us feel like royalty!! A multi choice of breakfast, cereals, fry up, toasts, fruits, etc. It was yummy!!

The landlady was so friendly, came to chat with us, recommend places to go (the restaurant she dropped us off at was her recommendation and that was fab too!). She was very funny and felt like a friend.

If we found ourselves to back to Bromsgrove,we would definately stay there again.....a terrible experience!!

Definately a place for a romantic weekend as well as convenience!!!! Highly recommended!!

The house is lovely, the rooms and bathrooms have every convenience you could wish for. They have comfortable beds with good linens and are spotlessly clean. The shower ensuite is small but has everything you need. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast is fresh cooked to order with local produce and home-made jams and marmalades. there is even a choice of instant or fresh ground coffee (with a cafetiere) in the room. This is my second visit and will always be my first choice in Bromsgrove.

Lovely room, huge bathroom and a great, powerful shower.

Breakfast was a treat, especially the fruit and yogurt.
