Have been here a couple of times for Sunday breakfast. Well worth a visit! Great pastries, coffee and cooked breakfast.

Will be back.

“Very pleasant but limited choice for lunch”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

You'll need to like granary bread if you want a sandwich and there wasn't much else to choose from. Would recommend this for tea and cakes rather than lunch. Nice pot of tea and delicious piece of cake.

“Nice Coffee Shop”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

It is pretty cafe with easy going decoration. It is more like a conservatory in a garden setting. It is great to have plenty of light in winter but I think it may be far too hot in sunny days. Nice home made cakes, tarts and salads. But soup was too thick. I couldn't finished it. A bit pricey. If you like peace and quite, it is more for you. Nothing much is going on in the garden.

“Breakfast in the sun”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

We had breakfast on Bank holiday Monday morning. the restaurant opens at 10 am. We had a longish wait for 2 coffees, which were served in paper cups. Not what I had expected. My brown toast was crunchy , the butter and the honey was a somewhat on the small side. My husband did not received what he had ordered, but could hardly complain as he did not say anything. He said the sausage was lovely and that he liked his meal.
We were asked to pay £ 4.00 entry as there was a food fair going on, but as we only came for breakfast we were let through.

“Charming”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

We (kids, wife & I) found the medicine garden and the hothouse cafe charming, the vibe is great, the surroundings are fab and the food was lovely. I don't think the menu was limited at all it is what it is - which isn't a motor way cafe (@Haggis126 , perhaps stop off at one on the M1 on the way home eh?) more over it fits it's medicine garden surroundings perfectly, complimenting the entire place. Arts, crafts, antiques and deli food...amongst some pretty cool garden architecture.
We'll be going back as often as we can - thoroughly recommend it. Some images can be found here http://dylanfowlerphotography.wordpress.com/
