There were three things wrong with the hotel,
1) Buying the most expensive champagne form the bar and being offered a bottle directly from the box, from the store, at room temperature with the bar staff admitting it was not cold!: ...OK maybe if it was single glass of house plonk... but their best!
2) The room sheets although laundered had thick black eye liner smudged all over and across the sheets; it was obvious to me and I guess to the room maid who made up the beds, but they still put them on.... maybe they were rushed and thought the guest would not notice! Also the pillow cases had lots of tiny little holes; although they had been caught in zip during the wash, But again they had still been placed on the bed rather than discarded.
3) Breakfast: all very rushed and most annoyingly every fried egg from the buffet (despite me requesting more) was hard! - if they cant serve soft fried eggs then keep to the scrambled, so please stop yoking about!
I never eat in the restaurant or used the gym, sauna etc.
so I can not comment.More
