On Saturday night we made our third visit to the Riverside since December. Again, for the third time the food and service were first class, really ecceptional. The mini burger board for staters, a steak and the chicken chorizo dish for main courses, the sticky toffee pud and the cheese board to follow. The twice cooked chips are such a brilliant change from the usual freezer offerings. Because this high standard is, for us, the norm for the Riverside I had not intended to post yet another review about its virtues. However, it seems under attack at the moment and must reassure potential visitors that it remains top of the class.
