“Definatley not a greasy spoon, fine dining at the roadside!”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

We ate here on 08/05/2013 as our usually place cancelled, as a group of 10 looking for somewhere to eat while having a committee meeting our hosts were able to host us at short notice and provide excellent food and service, i had the lasagne which was fab and a sticky toffee pudding what a treat served at resturant standard not the usually ping pong stuff or greasy servings at a road side cafe. I hope they make a success as they deserve it we have now decided to return for our next meeting. Great price £135 for 10 drinks, main course and dessert and they stayed open until we finished our meeting we were very appreciative of this.

“Deserves to be a Sucess”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

Decided to pop out for a bite to eat from Dunblane on a wet Bank Holiday based on the reviews and we were very pleased we did . The chicken and rice soup was very tasty and the MacnCheese was as good others had stated with nicely dressed salad and very garlicky garlic bread. Loved the big pot of tea. While you cant hide the fact it used to be a Little Chef totally the owners have done a good job in going it a more warm feel with a comfy area for just having a drink . The staff were very helpful and determined to please their visitors . We will be back to try Sunday lunch or a steak and we really hope this place takes off cos it really deserves to.

We stopped here on our way to Gleneagles and we couldn't have been happier. The food was fantastic and the staff so friendly plus the place was very clean with a fantastic atmosphere. The food was cooked to order so was very fresh. If you go you must try the sticky toffee pudding it's to die for!!!

“Don't judge a book by its cover!”
Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I are just back from dinner at Oliver's and it was simply superb. We decided to try it after reading the favourable reviews on TA but, to be honest, nearly didn't go in after seeing its surroundings on the A9. Please, please do not let this put you off though as the food and service were absolutely fantastic.

We both had macaroni cheese (which came with chips, garlic bread and salad) and then the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Both meals together with drinks came to just £25.00. The food was all simply delicious and the sticky toffee pudding in particular is the stand out. It's worth going to this restaurant simply for this!! All food is homemade and you can tell that the owners are proud of their food and the restaurant.

I can highly recommend Oliver's whether as a stop en-route to your destination or as a short drive from a stay in Dunblane (we are staying at the Hydro). Give it a try and you will not be disappointed. I only wish we lived closer so that we could come every week!
