We had a 2 night stay at the coppid beech on Thursday 27th December. After reading reviews saying the hotel was tired and in need of renovation I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality of the room's fixtures and fittings (room 221). The breakfast was also very good and the staff were all very courteous and helpful. We usually stay at the Premier Inn in Bracknell but they were charging £58 pn and the coppid beech deal was £59 incl breakfast. We would definitely stay there again for the special deal (couldn't afford the standard rate!)

Stayed here recently on business. The exterior of the hotel looks unusual but quirky for an English hotel but once you all through the doors it starts to look like a regular hotel. The hotel was average and is priced accordingly. Staff were friendly though. There is a bar in the rather large lobby which has a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. The bar downstairs is a sports bar and doesn't open late mid week. Didn't sample the niteclub or restaurant.

The room again was adequate. No complaints bar my remote control not working properly but that's minor.

The decor/carpet and most of the furniture throughout the hotel looks and feels dated. A makeover of this would make a huge difference to the hotel.

Bracknell as an area is dull. Even the hotel staff recommended places to go/eat in other nearby towns instead!

Reception area and outside is quite stunning. Rooms are dated including the feature carpeted headboards! unfortunately I had a room with interconnecting door - absolutely terrible sound proofing!! I could hear every word of conversation in next room! Bathrooms dated but clean, issue with shower - every couple o minutes water flow stops completely - I think someone else has mentioned this. Breakfast was ok - grand presentation let down by quality of ingredients.

Room Tip: Avoid interconnecting doors

I enjoyed staying here.
I had a very comfortable room with everything I needed including a fridge for my picnic lunch the following day.
Public lounge / bar areas are relaxing and spacious. Lots of parking space.

Room decor tired, greasy dust around the broken power point, but compensated by the very good breakfast and pleasant public spaces. I stayed on a Thursday on 2nd floor above the night club, so assume it wasn't open because I heard nothing.

Stayed in a superior room/suite for 2 nights on a business trip. The room was huge but obviously in need of some attention. Furniture was worn & scuffed, bathroom was clean on the surface but with dirty corners and patched with silicone sealant. The bed was very comfy. Tv limited to 6 or so channels. Didn't eat here. Breakfast service was very quick, unlike checkout.

My fourth stay at this hotel was as good as the previous three: lovely, comfortable room with handy fridge, very good facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room - though the shower and changing area could do with updating), super breakfast and very helpful, lovely staff.
This hotel really scores when you are travelling with a family - the reasonably-priced family rooms are similar to suites, with a twin-bedded second room for children curtained off the main bedroom.
My only suggestion for improvement would be that a larger choice of light bites / snacks could be offered, at family-friendly prices.
I'm already looking forward to my fifth stay!
