We got married at Stirrups in 2005 (a fantastic experience) and have been regular visitors ever since. The food is of a high quality and the menu is a mix of 'traditional' dishes (eg scampi, gammon and egg, burger) and those for the more adventurous diner. The staff are polite and cheerful and greet us like old friends. You can eat in the restaurant area or the bar - it's all open plan, There are some tables outside if the weather is good, but the menu is more restricted. In the winter there's an open fire - very cosy. My only minor criticism is the drinks are on the expensive side which can boost your bill.
