“Great fun, surprising approach”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Go Ape was very different to what I expected. I assumed we would be lead around the obstacle course by an instructor and you would spend a lot of time waiting for everyone in your set group (up to 16 people) to complete each obstacle. However it was nothing like that! The group is given very clear instructions on how to use the safety equipment and approach each type of obstacle and then you are free to start the course as an individual, responsible for your own safety and how you tackle each item. There are a range of rope bridges, zip wires and other obstacles to challenge and amuse. The course can get a little congested but everyone was very patient waiting for the next obstacle to clear before giving it a go. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were great, I thoroughly recommend it.
Top tips – bring £4-6 for parking and bring a change of clothes, you’ll be covered in saw dust and bark from the zip wire landing zones.

I visited the Bracknell Go Ape with a group of family and friends aged from 12 to 62. The team looked after us all very well ensuring that we were all safe as well as having a great time.

“Good climbs, fun zip wires!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

I had a good time at Go Ape climbing through the tree mounted tasks.
The zip wires were great fun but not long enough ha ha!
Only points of note for me were a lack of instructors around the course (after section 1, I saw just one instructor at the end of the course in two hours) and a lack of control of some customers, which more staff would have solved.
The attraction could do with some updating and having to pay to park after forking out £70 for two adults is frankly a mickey take.
At a similar attraction in Scotland I didn't have to pay for parking.
Overall the place was good. Not really average, but not very good or excellent.
I will go to other Go Apes in the future to compare facilities.

“Fantastic Segway Track”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

I've been on another Segway Off Road adventure, but the one in Bracknell is superb! You start off on a learners section, then move into the forest where there are 3 different tracks with different routes, each with increasing complexity. Because of the size of the area the track is set up in, once you start out, you are not bothered by the usual bunching up behind the slowest person issue that we had at the last track I went around. The area they have dedicated to this is large and was great fun. After you have played in the forest, they up the speed of the Segway and you head off onto the large forest road and speed your away through the beautiful forest area and get a really nice long ride.

This is pricey, at £30 a head, but it was a fantastic afternoon for us, It is set in woodland area, and nearby there are picnic tables, a cafe, the Look Out Science Centre, beautiful walks and of course Go Ape.

We will definitely be doing this again, and it will be back at Bracknell.
