My husband and I stayed for five nights, leaving our kids at home. The Byron at Byron was the perfect place for us - my husband surfed and I read my book pretty much the entire time. Attention to detail is incredible and the accomodation is simply breathtaking, from the rainforest walk to your room, pool, chocolate and water delivery from Debbie in the evening and promixity to stunning Tallow Beach. The peace and quiet mixed with sounds of nature in your suite are just out of this world. The staff are so friendly and welcoming but the highlight for me was our reading room! Just perfect. Cannot fault this exceptional resort and will gladly return, when we can next organise our parents getaway! Thank you for having us.

From the moment we walked in- we new we were somewhere so special!
My friends and I booked a retreat weekend package and got a chance to experience this newly renovated hotel in all its finest.
Nestled in the Rainforest and a walk to the beach ....our check in was a dream.
A special shout out to Olly who booked our dinners- spa treatments and escorted us to our beautiful triple rainforest room with his speed buggy.
The rooms are large with 2 tv's - dual access bathroom. Mattress wasSO comfortable . The spa staff were so professional and cheerful. We took a moment to have a therapeutic infra red sauna and then a spa- followed by one of the BEST massages that I have ever had!
The decor and refurb of the hotel is STUNNING...mornings we were greeted by Kookaburras and bush turkeys and a wonderful breakfast that included plenty of gluten free items.
The Management (thats you Lyn) treated us like long lost friends. Laughter and smiles by all the staff ensured that we were well taken care of. Thank you so much.

Parking was easy and only a 5 minute drive into town which allowed us to get away while still being part of the action.
This place is a little touch of paradise in Byron....just book it....you will love it
.....we can't wait to return

Room tip: all rooms are beautiful when you are surrounded by such beauty

Thanks Madonnafan for your wonderful feedback and the special mention of "Lyn". You did experience the resort at one of our busiest times of the year with Easter, Bluesfest, School Holidays, Anzac Day and extended holidays. I'm so pleased we were able to look after you so beautifully and I so enjoyed meeting you. Let me know when you plan to return.

We stayed in a Superior Suite (b48) at The Byron for two nights. The room was quite simply superb. The kitchen was fully equipped with a large fridge, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The living area had a large sofa and television. The king bed was very comfortable. The enclosed balconies looked out over the forest. The rest of the property is very well maintained and we could walk to the beach within 10 minutes.

We loved our stay the Byron at Byron. A little bit of sophistication mixed with an island feel - making you feel relaxed and at ease as soon as you arrive.

We loved just simply lying by the pool, happy hour on the verandah, riding the bikes along the boardwalks and paths of Suffolk Park and just hanging in the Pandan trees at the local beach.

A huge favourite was a trip to the Byron Farmers Market with your head chef and the walk from Wategos to the lighthouse - your concierge was great on tips on what to do in and around Byron especially with kids.

Thanks so much for your lovely review and comments about the various activities you enjoyed during your stay at the resort. A trip, with our chef, to the Byron Farmers Markets on a Thursday morning is a "must". Most of our guests, like yourselves, enjoy walking to Tallow Beach, chilling out around our pool and relaxing on our spa deck enjoying happy hour. Taking the time to wrote to say "thank you" means so much to our team at the resort, I will pass on your thanks to them.

I feel like this review could just as well be a thank you letter to Damian Kalusiewicz and Laura Tyrie; both of whom worked tirelessly to deliver the most gorgeous private dinner that will forever leave me speechless. Their team went above and beyond to make sure our group's every whim was met with ease and our wildest desires (and last minute setup) was achieved to perfection. The two are both professional, delightful, friendly and always eager to deliver exquisite experiences that have proven to become lasting memories. I will never forget feeding the kookaburras by hand, sipping on the most delicious cocktails, dining on the most divine lamb and reveling in the ambience that they created for us. This is not just luxury...this is heaven. The team, the staff, the food, the nature surrounding the property... it's all perfection and it's everything I'll remember forever. Thank you for an unforgettable evening and for catering to our ever-changing vision with grace and swift action. We are forever indebted and cannot wait to return.

Dear Mstevenschasen,

Delighted you had such a wonderful experience and that you named two of our key team members in your review. Going beyond the call of duty is what we ask our employees to do and as in business, it’s the memories whether human or destinational that linger. Our repeat business exceeds 50% and I’m proud to say that the staff play a very large part of that revenue.

The kookaburras started with one some years ago, then a partner arrived and now the two kids. They bring great happiness to our guests and fortunately are not on the payroll!

Thank you for your review and hopefully we will all have the pleasure of your return visit .
Kind regards, John Parche, General Manager
