If you are in Byron Bay you must stay here. Such a lovely welcome and the surroundings of the rainforest and the accommodation were fabulous. The whole place is pristine and so relaxing. Nice gym and the pool was a lovely 28 degrees, just perfect. We ate in the restuarant which happened to be a Thursday when the chef buys and cooks local food and it was superb. The bed was so comfortable and the bath pure luxury! Our only regret is that we did not stay longer, we will return one day and stay longer! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The Byron at Byron resort is stunningly positioned where the rainforest meets the sea nestled amongst 45 acres of dense tropical bushland which opens up onto one of the most pristine but naturally rugged white sandy beaches in Australia. Only 5 minutes outside of the Byron town centre, the quiet and laid-back vibe of the Suffolk Park area will allow you to immerse yourself into the nature and wildlife that surround the 5-star resort.

The staff were professional and check-in was faultless. There was a slight drissle of rain when we arrived, and the lovely young gentleman at reception drove us in one of the resort’s buggies to our Delux Spa Suite, one of property’s 92 one-bedroom suites. We were thrilled with the lovely complimentary welcome bottle of wine and snack awaiting us.

The expansive property has all the modern luxuries, including a vibrant restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a sparkling infinity pool with stylish day beds overlooking lush manicured rainforest, a tennis court, sauna, and award-winning day spa.

Our delux spa suite was stylish and spacious with a sensationally soft king-size bed. We felt as though we’d woken up in a treehouse as the morning sounds of chirping birds filled the room. My favourite feature in the room was the gorgeous deep spa bath.

Room tip: Sp Suites are closest to the beach

This resort is located in a beautiful tropical rainforest yet it's only a few short minutes by foot to pristine Tallow Beach. The resort offers everything a visitor could want: a beautiful pool area, a small gym, a spa, well appointed and nicely decorated accommodation and an excellent restaurant offering a good variety of well prepared local fare. The resort is located 3.5 kms south of the township of Byron Bay and is very well placed for touring the many attractions in the Byron hinterland area. The resort offers a compelling combination of style and comfort in a serene and beautiful environment.

Room tip: The design of the resort is clever and ensures all of the rooms are quiet, peaceful with beautiful views of the rainforest.

We have enjoyed our five nights at the Byron At Byron, the staff were attentive and friendly and the surroundings were breathtaking. Take the time to do the rainforest walk and the walk to the beach - both very worth it. Breakfast is definitely a highlight - especially the chia puddings. The only element that was a little disappointing was the yoga classes do not accept children - however all ages is written on all the resort information. We were asked to leave after we had set up. We provided this feedback as something to look at. Overall a great resort, great staff and very recommended to all. Our sons feedback is to say thanks to Jason (hopefully his name) who introduced him to the kookaburra and the guys who took him for a ride on the golf buggies!

Dear melindadelaide,
Thank you for your generous review and I will certainly pass on your kind feedback to Jason. (You were right about his name).
I was sorry hear of your disappointment with our Yoga class and more importantly, that we had failed to update all of our materials with the change to the minimum age of guests attending the classes. We have rectified this now and from your feedback we are considering some other options that might resolve this in the future.
We hope you and your son visit us again as I'm sure does our popular and roguish Kookaburra.
Warmest regards

Not in the Main Street of Byron Bay so that's a plus . Hidden amongst lush vegetation comfortable without being commanding. Thoroughly enjoyed well cooked & presented meals ( pork ) .. Great relaxed service .. Well worth the effort to drive down the hill ...
