The Byron at Byron resort is stunningly positioned where the rainforest meets the sea nestled amongst 45 acres of dense tropical bushland which opens up onto one of the most pristine but naturally rugged white sandy beaches in Australia. Only 5 minutes outside of the Byron town centre, the quiet and laid-back vibe of the Suffolk Park area will allow you to immerse yourself into the nature and wildlife that surround the 5-star resort.
The staff were professional and check-in was faultless. There was a slight drissle of rain when we arrived, and the lovely young gentleman at reception drove us in one of the resort’s buggies to our Delux Spa Suite, one of property’s 92 one-bedroom suites. We were thrilled with the lovely complimentary welcome bottle of wine and snack awaiting us.
The expansive property has all the modern luxuries, including a vibrant restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a sparkling infinity pool with stylish day beds overlooking lush manicured rainforest, a tennis court, sauna, and award-winning day spa.
Our delux spa suite was stylish and spacious with a sensationally soft king-size bed. We felt as though we’d woken up in a treehouse as the morning sounds of chirping birds filled the room. My favourite feature in the room was the gorgeous deep spa bath.
