The hotel is just in front of the bus stop, which makes it easy to take hop-on-hop-off buses as well as other local buses. Our room was rather compact but not too small. However, the tub shower shield covers only about a third as much of the bath tub's length as is usual in Europe, and as a result, the bathroom's floor got flooded after my husband took a shower in a standing position. I therefore resorted to taking a shower in a sitting position.
The staff at the breakfast bar were nice and smiling and we liked the fact that our beverage was made to order.
There was one disappointing incident during our stay when we asked to mail some postcards for us at the reception. We went to the nearest post office to find out that it was closed on that particular day and were scheduled to take an early flight the next day, thus we asked at the hotel if they could post the cards. We were surprised to get flatly refused, the receptionist on duty insisting that we go to the post office. This was the first time ever that we'd asked at an hotel to mail postcards and got refused.More
