Had heard this was a good place to eat and has a good setting. Was impressed as we walked in and greeted by lovely young man who showed us to our table by the window. The lighting is low and as we looked around, great view out of the windows over St Julians bay, but... then you look up and at each end of the room are huge TV screens..... football was on so luminous green shinning from each end of the room. Luckily no volume and actually nobody seemed to be watching, but it wasn't what I was expecting from a more up market restaurant.
Anyway the young man who showed us in was very helpful and we were served quickly and all came together. You can choose size of streak and two of us both had the smaller ones, which actually were more than enough and cooked how we liked. Puddings were good and presented well. Then we seemed to switch waiters and end up with a very sullen young girl and we had trouble trying to get the bill!
Would go again but have to check what sport is on first to make sure not a loud cheering crowd etc - world cup coming up??
