Went here for lunch and a few beers down by the sea.

Nice little pub, decent atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Food was pretty good.

Quite a cosy little place.

Could do with a bit of a renovation as the toilets werent great but other than that can't knock it.

Staff really friendly too which always helps.

Stopped in here by chance for a drink as we had been walking along the prom. It is certainly a pleasant enough place, but the main glitch was that the barman got our change wrong - massively wrong. He apologised and gave us the right change, but ... .lucky we spotted it, as we were still tired after the long journey to Malta.

Firstly let me state that I am referring to British style fish & chips.
Situated on the seafront in St. Julian's this pub provides great pub grub. My wife and I ate here twice during our weeks stay. To use the old adage 'It does what it says on the tin' amply describes what's on offer. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank on our first visit and tried the fish on our return. On both occasions we where fortunate to encounter the bar when it wasn't full and found the service good and friendly.

Stumbled upon the Dubliner entirely by accident while wandering around St Julians and what a find. Girl behind the bar downstairs was very friendly during the day and recommended we come back for a meal maybe using the lounge bar, so glad we did. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the Lamb Shank. Wow!! One of the best meals i have had on the island and it is always so busy. Fab service DUbliner, keep it up.

As a bar, I enjoyed visiting here several times during a recent week long visit to the Radisson St Julians in Malta. The beer was decent, the beer prices were good compared to many of the bars and the barmaid on most of the times we were there was very pleasant and talkative. The owner / manager was pleasant and the one evening that he was in when we were there he was telling us how good his fish and chips were..... we never found out.

One miserable wet, windy evening, we walked around from the Radisson to get our Fish & Chips - The bar was busy so we walked up the stairs to the lounge. Other than the waitress on duty, there was nobody else there, other that our favourite off-duty barmaid who was having a meal. We ordered 2 pints of Carlsberg - but were advised we would have to go to the bar downstairs and get them as they only had the local Cisk beer on draught upstairs. Having made the effort to walk 15 mins in the wet windy weather and to get there and the waitress who was doing nothing else other that bleathering to her off duty colleague couldn't be bothered to get the beer... we decided to go to our favourite restaurant Raffael (almost directly across the bay) and got an excellent, great value meal. with our drinks brought to the table.

The Dubliner missed out on selling 2 Fish & Chips and 8 pints of beer (in an empty lounge bar!)
