This September I stayed at the Westin and I had the most amazing stay.

The location is perfect, the hotel has great facilities one of the largest hotel gym's I have ever seen. There is loads of space to chill out and relax on this resort.

The thing that makes this hotel is the staff and this is why it is the best on the island. There is always a smile and a personal greeting. You feel at home here they get to know you and always enquire if you are getting the best out of your stay.

Special mention to Christina , Tony, Allwyn , frank and Edward they know the true meaning of hospitality.

I will return no question of a doubt. I don't understand why this hotel is not No 1 on trip advisor .

We had a party organised at the Reef Club. the service was excellent and the staff were all very pleaseant and did their very best to cater to all our needs. Even when we booked a venue, they suggested an alternative site and upgraded it when it was evident the nearby noise could cause the party not to go smothly. we cannot but say a big thank you to Ms Fiona Cammilleri the events manger and all her team. the food and atmosphere was superb. This is a good quality hotel. Very American in styling and with what they offer in terms of food selections etc but overall decent.
We stayed in one of the club rooms. The room was fine but just like walking into any Westin /Sheraton hotel in the US so no local styling which was disappointing.
The club rooms themselves were a little shabby and the service was poor. The food was OK but there was no waiter service so you had to get your own drinks. Plates and glasses were not cleared away quickly enough. It just needs a little bit of extra attention to make it much much better. As a result we ate breakfast in the main restaurant or outside as the variety of food was also much nicer.

My wife and I recently stayed in the Westin Dragonara for our first holiday in Malta. As my wife has reduced mobility and has to use a wheelchair the hotel was very easy to get around and caters well for those less able to move about. The staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was a bother to them and most helpful at all times. We had a sea view which was great, the bed was absolutely enormous! and the room very spacious Breakfast buffet was great loads of choice for everyone.During our excursions around the Island the locals were unbelievably helpful I have never met a more pleasant group of people anywhere!
We look forward to returning sometime in the future.

Dear Billy M,

Thank you for sharing this experience with fellow travellers.

We gladly read that you have enjoyed the stay on the Maltese Islands.

The guest rooms at the resort are very spacious and equipped with the famous Heavenly Beds. The rooms as well have a balcony where thanks to the position of the hotel on a peninsula, these enjoy wonderful sea views.

We enjoyed a long weekend at the resort a great getaway to lay back and relax. The resort is nice for Malta and especially for a resort in the city center. The view from our room was quite breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious ... we had 2 double beds that were huge and we slept comfortable 3 in the room.
We enjoyed the pool and the direct access to the sea. Breakfast was delicious with a great spread and we enjoyed the drinks of an evening on the terasse.
The location is really good with an easy walk to cozy romantic restaurants, the bar and nightlife area and the casino is right next door. We had beautiful seafood in the surrounding restaurants.
The 2 negative points are indeed the internet... we never even managed to connect in the lobby and it is costly.
The other one is that the spa is closed on Sundays and holidays... which is a shame for a resort . On the plus side we ended up going to the Corinthia for a massage where we spent the day and I must say we did not regret having chosen the Dragonara instead of the Corinthia.
