As you walk down the side streets in this busy location you come across this small restaurant and boy you will be surprised. The staff were attentive & the chefs Talented even though my partner had Horse Meat stew! The menu is is not exhaustive but fitting the bill easily, the steak (which I ordered) was just sublime and the rest of the meal was full of little surprises. As you order your starters you are treat to a tray of free small eats and when you finish your meal you are then again threat to another small desert bite that just finishes the meal nicely but then you are given a free Lemon Brandy shot that really was a fitting end to a lovely meal. Very nice eating with a nice price range!

This restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver as the best authentic Maltese / Gozan restaurant in the area. We were not sure as it was off season and the place was fairly quiet most nights but we went in and checked out the menu one day and all looked good so we returned that evening.

Staff were very attentive and the range of food was good, we did not want fish or octopus or horse meat so were slightly limited but there was still choice there. Lamd abd Steak mainly. The meat was superbly cooked, very large portions, one complaint was the large lamb dish came with minimal veg and potatoes, we did order extra veg.

I recommend this was authentic cuisice, reasonably priced.
