The place was packed but our 8 year old boy has blue eyes to melt the sternest heart and before long we were squeezed in. Despite my tiny misgivings about the doing takeaways as well as the restaurant the quality of the food was great. Delicious pasta dishes from the specials board and steak who's quality we never managed to repeat anywhere on the island.
The wines are mostly local, inexpensive (12-24E) and most are pretty darned good. Servie was friendly and informal and there was a great buzz about the place particularly on a weekend.
We returned again through the week and whilst you could tell it was not quite the same "A' team in the kitchen the food was still a cut above most of the restaurants we tried. Wish this was my local at home!
If you come back to Malta we will be visiting Bianco's again for sure.
