Description: Situated in an old town house in St Julian’s, Peperoncino has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.Inside is decorated in a traditional manner with limestone walls and elegant décor, while the outside terrace area offers fantastic views over Balluta Bay.The food is a blend of Maltese, Sicilian and Italian with other international flavours merged, so combinations are both varied and interesting.

We had a delightful meal overlooking the harbour. The staff went the extra mile in accomodating our request for a seaview table. The food and the wine were superb. They fully deserve their high ranking.
The only thing to be aware of is, it is a narrow building on 3 floors and the spiral stair case could be a challenge for the less mobile/able bodied.

Visited Malta last week on business, booked a table at Peperoncino and was glad I did. This is a lovely restaurant, the food was of a really very high standard, the staff superb, wine excellent and good value for money. If you are in Malta I would highly recommend a visit. !! Top stuff.

Went there with my husband. We had pork cheak and mashed potatoes - it melted in the mouth. Together with the recommended Sicilian wine Nero de tavola it was a perfect match. The view is gorgeous with the water and old houses.
