Had a nice stay at this hotel. Enjoyed a sea view room that had a private and sheltered balcony. It overlooks on of the small harbors in Monaco, so if you are expecting to see the mega yachts, you'll need to explore the others.

Location wise, it is in a quiet area (actually across the street from Monaco). Having stayed a few days for business right in Monaco (at the Fairmont) this was a welcome relief. If you want to get to the hustle bustle, it is easy to do so. The hotel has a shuttle service that you can sign up for, or you can make the walk/take a taxi.

Restaurants-wise, there are several great ones right at the next port north (10 minute walk; level ground). Beef Bar was outstanding (albeit pricey). Amici Mei and La Saliere also got high marks. All 3 were recommended by the hotel. We accidentally stumbled into Michelangelo and regretted it. No wonder it was not on the hotel's suggested list. We ended up walking out.

There is a nice Carrefour supermarket, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. They have just about everything you could want for your stay (including wine, liquor and a wide assortment of fresh meats and cheeses). Bring your own bag, or purchase a reusable branded one there for a cheap price ... makes for a cool souvenir back home.

We enjoyed our room, but it did seem a bit tired. The carpet was a bit worn and the drapes a bit tattered. Biggest complaint (which you'll see echoed in reviews here) is the lack of air conditioning. Never would blow cool air. Fortunately, we could leave the balcony door open but I'd imagine in the warm summer months this could be an issue.

Nice breakfast buffet in the morning and all the hotel staff get high marks for their friendly and attentive service.

Room Tip: Room facing the port.

A definitly must stay when visiting Monaco !!! Me and my family loved staying here. After our overseas trip we discussed which accommodation was the best of our entire trip and this hotel definitly came out top ! We stayed in a standard room which could occupy 3 Adults (1 double bed and one single bed in one room). I made the booking via HotelTravel.com and made a request via the hotel website for an ocean view room. We had a balcony overlooking the boats and the ocean !!!! Wow wow wow !!! What a fantastic view - would definitly want to go there again !!! The hotel is near the bus stop where you can take the bus to the train station (but you need to take two different busses). The Hotel is walking distance from the beach. The staff is so friendly and helpfull. I only have good things to say about this hotel.

Room Tip: Make sure you request an ocean view room !!!

I stayed one night and the reason was the close proximity to Monte Carlo which is just around the corner. The room was good, the service very good. It's an older hotel though which probably needs refurbishment soon. The bar right on the marina is great.

This is actually our 5th visit to this hotel. Each year in April for the Monte Carlo Masters tennis tournament we stay at this hotel. It is located on the French border of Monaco, about 1/2 hours drive from Nice, at the beautiful Marina Cap d'Ail.
All rooms that I know have a perfect view of the sea and the Marina. Rooms are reasonably spacious and have balconies facing the view. I enjoy staying here nor just because it is more reasonably priced than most of the other hotels in the city but it is also very quite and refreshing to be in the city and away from the noise and crowds. The personnel is friendly and the breakfast is very satisfying. It is not a "design" hotel but is certainly more than value for money...

Very pleasant hotel, not actually in Monaco but in walking distance to much of the area (actually all of it if you really willing to walk.) they have a shuttle to the casino area several times per night. Nice location, pretty view of the water. Nice pool and patio bar. Rooms small but clean and nicely appointed. Restraunt for breakfast was good. Hotel staff helpful. Conceierge very nice and informative. Enjoyed my stay wish it could have been longer.
