We stayed at the Travelodge down the road and ended up here (after a short 15 min walk)
This bar/restaurant is very nice, the food is to the usual Weatherspoons standard. (Mainly dry & overcooked)
The bar itself is tired and could do with a lick of paint.
But, you can't really grumble when it's so cheap! 2 pints of Carlesberg for £3.90!
We also had 2 chicken strips, large mixed grill (dry & overcooked), bangers & mash (no peas) & a pint for £22
Pudding, Chocolate fugue cake & 2 pints for £6 (fudge cake clearly £2.10)
The toilets seemed nice and new & it was nice and quiet (although it was Sunday 19th May)
The lad behind the bar was plesant enough (sorry I forgot his name)
