This plae is lovely, I had a burger with chips and salad. It was quite gourmet, really enjoyed it. My partner had eggs florentine, he was also very impressed. I wish i had room for desert as they looked lovely. Everything is home made and really worth the extra couple of pounds. The staff were also very friendly

Ordered from this shop previously the staff then before the recent take over were very grumpy and not welcoming the food on the other hand was great, since the new owner's have taken over the breakfast was very small and the bubble and squeek had no taste and at a guess tea spoon of baked beans, not worth the money very disappointed sadly its a goodbye form good from us.

This premises has not changed hands nor is it about too. There has been several people come up to me and ask me about this so I can only assume you are a competitor or someone who has a grudge.

Need to tell people out there about a lovely little bistro in Sunderland.Went with group of friends to their supper club event on a Saturday evening.
From arrival to departing staff were friendly and attentive.
Only a small venue but the food was awesome.
No alcohol is served but you can take your own, with small fee for corkage.
We all had different food but everyone was delighted at the quality, taste and presentation.
Well worth a visit we will certainly be returning.
If unable to eat in they also do a varied menu to take away.

We're a little weary of the ubiquitous Italian, Indian and Asian fusion restaurants in and around Sunderland - although some are very good! - so it is refreshing to find something a bit different.

A humble radio offering jazz overtones was a non intrusive background filler, the atmosphere is quiet, calm and friendly. There is no licence, so bring wine. A corkage fee of about £3 a bottle is fair. The service was efficient and we didn't notice until the end of the night that we had never asked for a top up of water nor had we poured any of the wine, it just happened.

The food was tasty, well presented fayre. Three courses for £16.50 or two for £14.50. Expect to pay surcharges for steak and duck, and other choices, as well as for sides. There were not enough options for vegetarians but I've fed back on this (pun intended) and it is being sorted. We'll definitely visit again.
