Located in a former pizza restaurant by the waterfront in town, fresh, clean and inviting (and a much better atmosphere than when it was a pizza place), with an extensive menu and very helpful and serviceminded staff, this really is a hot addition to the local variety of restaurants in town.
Quite busy on an evening that one would not expect it to be busy at all, indicating it is also a popular choice.
Food is very good - selection is wide, and service is both very helpful and fast. If You wonder what to choose, I recommend to ask the waitresses. Even though they are not indian, they know the menu and its content in and out. And they really recommend dishes suiting Your choice of flavor and hotness. Some dishes are indicated "hot" on the menu - according to the waitress this equals madras strength - and we found this to be very correct. She also recommended a nan bread with dried fruits and nuts - which went extremely well with our Chili Gosht (lamb) and chicken. Nice and tasty flavors matching very well with the spices of the curries. Prices are enjoyable - two main courses, tqo additional dishes and drinks for less than NOK 600,-/USD 110 is quite acceptable! (remember - this is Norway!...)
Our first visit - not the last.
