This was a pretty descent experience. Stayed here 4 days. It definitely has the signs of a budget hotel such as very small room (and I travel alone), barely room to sit comfortably with my computer on desk, very mediocre breakfast selection compared to the usual European Hotel breakfasts, worn carpets in corridors and a small number (maybe 10) of TV stations with nothing in English for part of the day....evening is better with a couple channels with programming in English.
On the bright side, the front desk personel is excellent/extremely helpful and knowledgable of the area. Front desk manager, Lars, was fantasticly helpful with everything. The kitchen and cleaning personel also lovely and friendly and the buffet meals served for lunch and dinner were expensive in $ terms but 25-30% less than an equivalent meal at other hotels I've been to in the area of the Oslo airport.
Nice fitness room. The hotel is clean and I didn't hear noise from outside my room so guess the rooms must be pretty well insulated.
The internet connection was fast and free and even though it says they charge for parking in the parking lot, they didn't charge me even once.
Despite the drawbacks mentioned, I think I will stay here again if the price stays less than other area hotels.
