It was a good stay, but not that satisfied. I requested for a sea view room, the request was made while making the booking and reconfirming it the day before my checking in. Still they gave me which had the view of their garden. I was really unsatisfied.

The room was spacious and clean with a small balcony. But the bed wasn't that comfortable for a couple. We were much disappointed with that.

Poor wifi coverage in room and frequently disconnects and speed is very slow.

Food was really good and much happy with it. For lunch there weren't much spread but the dinner was superb and it was really tasty too.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and very attentive. The hotel is facing a relatively calm beach. Get to see a wonderful sunset.

We travelled through Sri Lanka for our honeymoon and only stayed here for one night as we were due to fly the next morning. Unfortunately, the hotel wasn't great at all which is a shame as the staff were pleasant and the room had potential.

For the life of me I couldn't understand why there were two pairs of dirty flip flops in the wardrobe which had been banded together for our use. Clearly they had been used by everyone that had stayed in that room which is rather grim. I'd either supply new flip flops for each guest or not at all.

We were due to leave in the early hours of the morning to get to the airport so we had an early night. I had the worst night sleep I've ever had. The noise levels were ridiculous. I thought that maybe it was just because we were in bed so early so the level of activity/noise was just because everyone else was still up but it never dropped off. We could hear cars on the roadside like they were driving through the room and all night we could hear suitcases, voices, appliances being plugged into walls, car horns etc. It felt like we were sleeping in the middle of the street.

The overall cleanliness was not horrendous but did need attention. Dead cockroaches in the lift, squirrels in the dining area jumping table to table and walking across plates laid out for guests to be seated at. They also had these odd sort of centre pieces on the tables sat on blue fabric napkin squares which were covered in food and stains.

Not the most enjoyable stay but it does have to be said that the staff were nice enough.

Afraid we wouldn't stay here again.

I checked in for one night. The staff was welcoming. The room was great. I actually got an upgrade. Many thankz for the guest relations lady 🙂. The room was huge with direct access to the garden, pool and beach. The dinner was great. Their portion size is quite large. I ordered grilled prawns and it was delicious. The breakfast they had a set menu. I think because the hotel wasn’t full. But it was nice to sit by the beach and have breakfast. And I also used the spa. The therapist was kind enough to offer a discount, which was great. And they have a ayurvedic spa which was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel and if I get the chance I’ll definitely go back with friends and family.

The hotel is located right by the seaside where you can take long walks along the beach and almost all the rooms have a sea view.

However, the rooms and other facilities are of poor quality. For instance, we got a room in the South Wing where there were insects (lot of mosquitoes and a few cockroaches to be precise) and it was not cleaned properly before our arrival, where the bedside and other tables were dusty.

There are two pools, which are supposed to be open from 7.00am-7.00pm, as confirmed by the front office twice as we arrived and on the day after morning. The South Wing pool (right outside our room) was not open until 8.30 am and when inquired why it was not opened at 7.00 am we were told by the pool attendant and the front office that there is only one pool attendant available to maintain both the pools and hence he would clean the North Wing pool first and open it at 7.00 am and then clean and open the South Wing pool at 8.30 am. Hence we were asked to use the North Wing pool. After walking up to the North Wing pool at 7.30 am we found that there were no beach beds close to the pool but were only placed further away from the pool. Thus there was no place to keep anything. And thus we could not use either of the pools.

All in all, it was a disappointing stay and we cancelled our second day reservation and left the place due to these poor room conditions, quality of services and facilities. This is the first time that we encountered such a disappointing experience in a Jetwing Hotel, more so due to the esteemed reputation that the Jetwing hotels are known for. Therefore, we hope that they take necessary measures to improve the quality and deliver the services that they promise to deliver.

From the time we stopped our car at the entrance the front office staff was very welcoming. Check in was smooth and once we went in to room 316 it was all well set up with the extra bed all ready for the triple room and room 317 was the double room which i had requested for a baby cot prior to my arrival but it was missing but was not a big of an issue as housekeeping came and placed it in about 15 mins time.

However we did have a problem with the A/C in room 317 and was informed and engineering came and FIXED it but it never did cool properly we didn't tell bother much as its only a one night stay but its better if you look into small matters like this.

Well about the rooms the other thing is don't promote free WIFI if u don't have signal towards the end of your building. WIFI is a basic thing these days so thats one more point you need to look into.

Restaurant Staff was great especially the staff member at the sea food outlet. unfortunately it was closed on the Saturday we stayed but the waiter never said no to us he took down the order and served us.And the dishes were amazing specially the devil prawns.

Buffet dinner was great however the dishes need to be monitored by the chefs I do understand it was a busy night but standard of the dishes should maintain constant.
and I did see that no one really pays attention to the cold room as all desserts looked like a boom had blasted :(

Breakfast is something i did not enjoy at all. first of all Don't keep bacon and chicken sausages together and this is the first hotel i have been that in a buffet you need to ask a chef to serve you the bacon and the chicken sausages Not the service i expected.

Lunch was fairly ok as it was not busy as the dinner and breakfast.

One last thing i felt all the chefs on the floor need to change their chef coat they all looked very old.

Pool was great and even the spa staff and the treatment was good.

Overall We all enjoyed the stay but management please look into the small matters mentioned.

Room tip: if you are looking for good WIFI rooms towards the end of the hotel does not have WIFI

We (group of around 20) visited Jetwing Sea and had an enjoyable stay. Food was yummy and good for the price we paid. Rooms were complete and comfy. Had a lovely view of the sea from the room. Staff was very helpful and nice. In general we had a good time. However, some from the group said that discolored water came from the taps and water leaked into the room when it was raining. Some of them also thought that the buffet spread was limited. Further, a little slower service was encountered during breakfast and dinner where there were long queues for special stations (omelettes etc.). Further, due to security issues, check in took a very long time and we thought we would even miss the lunch buffet.
