The hotel is located right by the seaside where you can take long walks along the beach and almost all the rooms have a sea view.
However, the rooms and other facilities are of poor quality. For instance, we got a room in the South Wing where there were insects (lot of mosquitoes and a few cockroaches to be precise) and it was not cleaned properly before our arrival, where the bedside and other tables were dusty.
There are two pools, which are supposed to be open from 7.00am-7.00pm, as confirmed by the front office twice as we arrived and on the day after morning. The South Wing pool (right outside our room) was not open until 8.30 am and when inquired why it was not opened at 7.00 am we were told by the pool attendant and the front office that there is only one pool attendant available to maintain both the pools and hence he would clean the North Wing pool first and open it at 7.00 am and then clean and open the South Wing pool at 8.30 am. Hence we were asked to use the North Wing pool. After walking up to the North Wing pool at 7.30 am we found that there were no beach beds close to the pool but were only placed further away from the pool. Thus there was no place to keep anything. And thus we could not use either of the pools.
All in all, it was a disappointing stay and we cancelled our second day reservation and left the place due to these poor room conditions, quality of services and facilities. This is the first time that we encountered such a disappointing experience in a Jetwing Hotel, more so due to the esteemed reputation that the Jetwing hotels are known for. Therefore, we hope that they take necessary measures to improve the quality and deliver the services that they promise to deliver.
