Hotel is at Palm trees hight and blends in the landscape. It is the last hotel on the beach so it is a little away from everything, there are two good restaurants just across the road, but for all others you have to take a tuck-tuck. Great 30m long and clean swimming pool where you can swim and an other smaller one for family and kids.

We ate at the restaurant only once on the set menu evening and were very disappointed. Nice presentation but not very tasty and expensive for what it was.

Lots of plastic on the beach... Massive beach cleanup should be done more regularly and local population should be sensitized to this plastic trash problem on the beach as they all are very concerned to give a better future to their children…

Crow or raven (?) are very noisy, but we must leave nature some space before there there is none left...

Room tip: Avoid ground floor on the right wing as Emirate Crew arrives and leaves every day, top floor offers great view on sunsets.

Jetwing Sea is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in when I travel to Sri Lanka and the hotel has the most friendliest staff I’ve ever met. Being a Sri Lankan and traveling to Sri Lanka is one of the greatest feelings anyone can have like I do. On top of that when you meet people who treats you like family is more than anything.

The hotel is located in a great area where we call the Beach Road in Negombo and it has two perfect pools and three restaurants where you can have authentic Sri Lankan food or amazing Seafood.

The rooms are huge and every room comes with a breath taking sea view balcony or a porch where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea while watch the sun set!!

I do have to mention about a Staff, goes by the name of Charles who I’m used to call “Charlie” is a great staff the hotel has and he always gives me and the crew a very warm welcome and makes sure our stay is perfect at the hotel!! He is one of the best assets the hotel has coz with friendly and caring people like that the hotel or the stay of the guests can never go wrong.

Aside from him the rest of the staff are amazing too and they are always with a smile no matter how long or hectic their day was at work!

Keep up the good work Jetwing Sea staff and I will continue to stay with you guys every time I travel to Sri Lanka

This was the first hotel we stayed in after arriving on our overnight flight to Colombo. Although the official check in time wasn't until much later we were accommodated and shown to our room soon after getting there. The fresh pineapple juice on check in was a welcome refreshment.
The room itself was large with a lovely ocean view and sizeable bathroom. The room looked perfectly fine but our issue with it was the musty/damp smell. We don't know if this is an issue in all the rooms or if we were just unlucky with our allocation. The hallways and corridors could do with some sprucing up also.
For us the negatives stopped there. We had a great nap after all our travels and woke with a healthy appetite, looking forward to trying our first Sri Lankan meal.
Our evening meal was thoroughly enjoyable. Each dish was better than the last and service was perfect!
It was such a memorable experience to enjoy our 3 course meal listening to the waves of the Indian Ocean. The odd flash of lightning also added to the experience.
We headed to the bar for a few drinks after dinner where we enjoyed the local beer and gin on offer - accompanied by a small friendly frog!
Breakfast included a huge range of quality options - we were really satisfied with all of the dishes we sampled and checked out with full bellies.

I recently stayed here following a flight from from London, before travelling up to the Cultural triangle. For a single day/night this place is great. We had room 105 which I would reccomend. It was large and walked straight out onto the beach. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and would reccomend both.

Room tip: Room 105, beach access

This hotel was within walking distance of bars and restaurants and was really the only place that had any nightlife during our whole trip. The hotel was good value and close to the airport so a good place to stop for our early flight.
