Our wedding

Getting married in the unknown that is Sri Lanka was quite a daunting task which ultimately turned into a great occassion. We chose this hotel through our travel agents Kuoni (who were also brilliant) and from day one of planning all the way through to the big day was fantastic.

A group of 20 people flew in from all corners of the world to share our magical day and the team at Jetwing sea were fantastic. Special mention to Elvis and Natarlee who helped to arrange the wedding with flowers, band, food and talk us through the service, without these pair it wouldnt have been the experience it was.

Natarlee who had only just started has a very bright future in the hospitality trade. My grandfather who travelled with us had a fall one day and had quite a gash on his leg. She insisted on assisting him to the hospital and even paid the bill which was clearly above and beyond what was needed.

The rooms were clean, spacious and had a nice view of the ocean. The food was tasty with good variety on offer throughout our 10 day visit. The local beer Lion is also a nice drop, although be careful mixing it with 42 degrees heat as there is only one winner.

A merry group of travellers who were treated very well by each and every one of the team. James the barman was particular favourite of ours and served a mean mojito.

Nice to begin or end your trip in Sri Lanka

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel just before going home. Despite a problem of moisturing in the room (A/C needs to be on all the time), everything is fine and the staff is so
kind and helpfull. The restaurants are good, especially the Lellama which is a sea food restaurant where you can eat the catch of the day. The chief Rajith Priyanga is a real professional and cooks sea food and fresh fish perfectly. The staff also is professional and very kind. Special thanks to Guyan !

Very good Time here

A special mention for the restaurant Lellama, the sea food restaurant.
The chief Rajith Priyanga really knows the sea food and cooks it perfectly.
Very fresh fish, catch of the Day.

Great Breakfast!!!

Checking was a bad experience to begin with. We booked a standard room with king size bed but at the checking they said they are fully booked and only can offer twin bed standard room. We refused then got what we reserved. Went to the given room and it was used and didn’t even start to change over. However, immediately we got a replacement without waiting. The room was quite spacious but the bathroom extremely small. Very clean inside out. The bedding was very comfortable. Most of the rooms in ground floor has easy access to the pool.

The main restaurant has a very nice view of the beach. They provide buffet for all three meals. The breakfast buffet had so many options to cater all age groups. The food was tasty restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive. Giving lower rating because of the bad checking experience we had. Apart from the checking it was a pleasant stay.

Calm and relaxing place

Very nice hotel with all the amenities open lobby area, staff are friendly and polite.
In Negombo area with all the shops near by and restaurants. A touristic place, walking distance to the beach and in front of the hotel it's a cemetery which is kind of strange, lots of crows around. Has a nice balcony overseeing the sea.
