We was here at the typical Business Hotel for a training and the first night we had the choice to escape from the boring ( and sometime disappointing ) Hotel Menu to lokk for something more simple and with more taste and personality.
Le pomme d'Ore is simple, not elegant for sure but clean, with a "mom and pop" service style that is easy and customere oriented even if sometime slow or a bit confused.
Apart of "a la carte" menu there's an interesting 14 euro menus whose dishes comes from the standard one and that is definitely suggested if you want to stay cheap.
Wine list simple, not cheap, but with good proposal ( we had a Bourgogne passe tout grain 2009 and Bordeaux Chateau Gazin-Montaigu Premieres Cotes de blaye 07 di Noel Briday ).
Definitile suggested the Canard Patè, very good the Tartare de boef , not for all taste but good the pork meat cruditee.
Not impressive but anyway of good quality the cheese selection You can have instead of sweet cake.
At the end 31 euro, not so bad, anyway much but much better than any Hotel You could stay in the village,
