We were there last week so there were going to be some inevitable closures, but a problem I had was with the Rock'n'rollercoaster - the music didnt work the first time I was on it. Toy story playland is amazing and it really is a great place to meet characters - a lot less stressful than the main park - best time to meet the characters is before the 1.45 parade between 12.30 and 1.15 either directly inside the gate for the main characters (Mickey, Minnie, goofy, donald and daisy) or just inside to the right for the princesses (Mulan, snow white, the evil queen aladdin) or to the left for the likes of ratatouille and jesse and woody.

we had a great time as the park was quiet at the end of jan so jumped straight on the rides over and over again. although very disappionted with the amount of restaurants closed in the various lands in the park. my son is only 6 so enjoyed the family rides but if you had older children many attractions closed, armageddon, ECO, studio tram tours, crushs coaster, many due to referbishments, maybe worth contacting disney before you book for a up to date list of open attractions.

Fab time At this park. Not sure why but seems to have a more relaxed atmosphere than other park. Only downside was some rides closed.

Crush's Coaster and Armageddon were closed, we knew this before we arrived so were expecting it.
We all loved the shows, they were much better than I expected them to be, our kids who normally just like getting on the rides were hooked on all the shows, even Cinemagique which they watched in amazement.
My 5 year old boy was tall enough for Tower of Terror and he had been going on about it every since he saw it as we were driving in to the hotel, he absolutely loved it and since I have always been a bit of an adrenaline junkie I was happy to oblige.
I thought the motor stunt spectacular was good but it goes on a bit and takes a bit to get going so I would imagine some young kids could get a bit bored and restless, our daughter fell asleep even though it was noisy !
Food wise, we only ate in Blockbuster Cafe, Avoid ! Go to Cafe de Cascadeurs or the fast food joint at the entrance to the studios, they seem to get more favourable reviews.
Toy Story land is ok, not much too it and they shut the Soldiers parachute drop if its windy or raining (obviously with good reason), so there is only really Slinky dog for kids to go on, which they are a bit stingy on the ride time, less than 90 seconds and that was with nobody waiting in the queue, RC Racer is for kids over 1.3metres, so for Toy Story land, its not really that kid friendly. I think they are extending it though looking at the crane and building behind it.
This is still a great park and everyone will love it no matter how old you are, Studios is alot smaller than the other park and if it is not particularly busy and you plan the day well (shows), you could be in and out in 3-4 hours.
We never had a problem with the toilet facilties other reviews mention in any of the parks, they were always spotless the ones we visited and any member of staff we encountered was really friendly and great with the kids.
Also we never had a problem with smokers around the park or in queue's, had a wiff of smoke walking past a smoker just once during our 5 days.
Never had a problem with people pushing in queue's or pushing our kids around to get to characters, they were more smiling and pushing our kids to have their photo's taken.
