Stayed here for our 4 night break to Disney and it ticked all our boxes. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of space and storage in the room and perfect to rest your tied head. We got into breakfast for 7.15ish and it was quite, but soon become more busy. Food for breakfast was more than adequate, crossants were gorgeous. We loved seeing a different character outside after breakfast each morning, with a very short que. Would have love to have done the pony rides but we didn't find the time. We always caught the shuttle buses into and from the parks with no problems. We walked back to the hotel on our last night after the firework show and that was nice as well and not that far at all, even with 2 prams. Over all we would certainly stay here again.

Our 1st trip abroad with 3 year old great experience ... Hotel is excellent for price paid & worth more..
Rooms - cleaned daily with clean sheets & towels, good size, would not want to stay in middle of summer as no air con only ceiling fan was quite warm but we knew this ..
Food - yes breakfast is a free for all but same as any big hotel with buffet service tip to take fruit for day as what can by in park not good especially for €1 an
Apple etc (if like a nice cuppa take own tea bags) we ate here one evening & was very impressed with quality of food..
Park- fantastic excellent experience & friendly staff with parades & fireworks worth wait & queues

Tips-
* food take food bags like everyone says to make lunch
* buy water from train station as cheaper plus sandwiches cheaper too
* earl of sandwich good value for lunch plus sell fruit pots for little ones, just past mc'ds with nice view of lake
* parades we found good position to view near entrance where they finish opposite city hall in far corner

Have fun and take your comfortable shoes lol... :-)

Our first Disney trip, and we loved Hotel Cheyenne!

We stayed in the Geronimo block which is the furthest away from the parks but still only a 10/15 minute walk. The room was clean, tidy, in good decorative order, bathroom was the same. Fresh towels and toiletries every day (stayed 4 nights). The kids loved the room theme and the bunk beds were ideal (boy:6 and girl:10). The ceiling fan (silent!!) cooled the room down within a couple of minutes of opening the two windows - we left it on all night with one window open too. Hardly any noise outside all night - just the Disney Dreams Fireworks!! Plenty of storage: 6 deep drawers, long hanging rail and a cupboard (think it used to have a fridge in it??), the safe was handy, and the tv showed several Disney channels and world news too.

Asked for extra pillows when we checked in (you only get one each) and they arrived when we were out in the park. When I realised the pillows were all feather stuffed, I phoned reception and two non-feather pillows were delivered within 15 minutes. Excellent service. We did without a kettle and brought our own hair dryer. All the staff we spoke to (here and in the parks) were lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast: had mentally prepared ourselves for the scrum but still a bit of an experience. Basic food: bread/toast, dinner rolls, ham, cheese, various cereals, jam, fruit (tinned??), croissants and pain au chocolat. Yes, we stocked up with pastries and small ham rolls for lunch, otherwise you'll be about Eur40+ for lunch each day on top of the Eur3.09 per bottle of juice in the park. We skipped breakfast on the Saturday morning and went to Annette's Diner instead (Eur10.99 each: bacon, eggs, sausage, beans, pancakes, hash browns, toast, tea/coffee and juice - loved it).

Tip: follow the signposts to walk into the park along the Rio Grande and cross the footbridge over to the Santa Fe hotel opposite. Turn to the right, head for Reception, through the carpark and then walk up to the security gatehouse and go to the garage just outside the fence - the shop is great and half the price of juice etc you'll pay inside the parks.

Use the Fast Pass and don't miss the Disney Dreams show (11pm).

Parks: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday was fine, but found the Saturday and Sunday crowds (and therefore the queues!) horrendous.

Room Tip: If you like it quiet, and don't mind a 5 min walk, ask for Geronimo block. We were upstairs but...

We have just returned from our second 4 night stay at this hotel and once again have come back happy. We stayed in the Sundance block this time which is right at the end of the complex but still a quick walk to the main building. the room was the same as last time with a double bed and set of bunk beds. the kids loved the Wild West theme. The room was clean and not overlooked at all so totally private. The fan was lovely when warm and was cleaned and beds made every day with fresh towels and toiletries. The key cards can be a pain but just takes a knack and patience.
The last time we stayed was at Christmas time so it was nice to revist during warmer months. Our daughter went on the pony ride twice which was 6 euro each time but worth it in our opinion as you got to take the pony yourself with your child and on a decent ride.
The check-in was super fast and as we had paid for disney express our luggage was waiting for us to collect. When we arrived at our room we asked for extra pillows which arrived within 15 mins - the beds and pillows were so comfortable I wanted to bring them home!!
We take a travel kettle and melamine cups with us as well as teabags, coffee and powder milk with us (sad brits I know!) and also a small travel hairdryer as we were warned about this the first time we went to disney.

The breakfast can be a bit of battle if you're new to the system but if you book the earlier slots prior to 8am (which can be tiring I appreciate when you're having full on busy days ) then its worth it. My husband would find the table with our youngest and me and our daughter would go and get the food then we would swap over and my husband would get the drinks while I sorted out the kids - we found this routine worked really well and the whole process flowed much more smoothly.

The shuttle bus is every 5 mins and unfortunately in any of the hotels guests do not believe in forming an orderly queue - so when in rome as they say - do likewise and just hop on!!

Would we stay here again? - most definitely - its great value for money and if you play the game and get yourself a routine then it will all go more smoothly

Room Tip: I recommend the Sundance block as it is away from the main building and therefore you cant hear the...

When staying on a Disney property you know prices will be higher than elsewhere so these ratings reflect a Disney experience vs other hotels. We got a good deal by booking 6 months out when they had 4 nights for the price of 2 advertised. As a couple with no children we were allocated what I suspect was a disabled room, due to a huge bathroom with grab bars, and only a double bed, no bunks. We found the room was getting tired and needs refurbing but it was clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit awkward being over a bath but was hot.

We liked the fact all the accommodation was only 2 storeys high and in blocks so we perceived much quieter than some of the larger hotels-certainly it was very quiet our entire stay. We stayed in Annie Oakley which was perfect - half way between reception and the Chuck wagon and the walk beside the canal to the parks. We thought the western theme was fun and like most Disney resorts was perfectly detailed throughout. Check-in was quick and efficient and we were lucky to be able to go straight to our room even though it was only11am as it was ready, appreciated after a long haul red-eye flight. All staff we met were friendly and helpful and spoke English.

We booked 7am breakfasts as we are early risers (and on the advice of other reviews) and this was great as we beat the rush-even by 7.30am it was getting busy. Breakfast was the usual European continental including delicious small rolls, croissants and pain au chocolat, hams and cheeses, spreads, normal bread you could toast if you wanted to be boring, a range of cereals and juices. Yoghurt was in a large bowl (not individuals like the more expensive resorts on-site) and the fruit was tinned not fresh (ditto). There was the option of cappuccinos as well as expresso coffee and tea.

We also hired a kettle from the desk for E25 (refunded on return). We had read in advance about this option and byo'd mugs, tea, coffee and sugar from home. More disappointing was the lack of supplies stocked by the gift shop. Most resorts sell basic supplies - this one was limited to a few chocolate bars and crisps. We walked through Sante Fe across the river to the minimart attached to the petrol station, which had a good range of grocery items including milk, cheeses, biscuits, cereals, cakes, bread, beers and wine, etc.

The bus, which drops off near the station and entry to Disney Village was very frequent. Different characters were outside each morning for a quieter than in-parks meet 'n greet. We also caught the train into Paris one day using a Mobilis pass - it was simple and easy. We did not try the Chuck wagon buffet meals as we are not fans of buffets.

All in all it was a great stay and a good budget hotel if you want the on-site experience (including EMH) and being able to walk to and from the parks and Village.

Stayed for 1 night of our 3 night stay. 1 night was enough.
Checked in late morning and were told we couldn't have the room until after 3pm. Went to the park came back late with a very tired 3 year old and couldn't believe the room that we were going to have to wash and sleep in. It was filthy. Curtains ripped down and hanging from the poles, so much mould in and around the bath I refused to bath my son in it. Wall paper in the bathroom (!) was stinking, stained, peeling. The bathroom floor was dirty. The room was just dirty. However, we were so tired after leaving home at 4am we just got into bed to deal with in the morning. The bed lining was clean!
Then we went to breakfast....we barely have words...hundreds of people in one massive room it was in every way horrendous.
We complained, were shown another room which my husband says was worse, as it had less windows, so was also dark and the corridor it was in smelled so bad of BO and was musky too. The guy who worked there said it was the cleaners!!!!
Upshot is we got moved to another Disney hotel which was better but still bad - sprinkler leaked and we had to get moved again - however i just want to say that we booked this hotel not because it was the cheaper option but because we thought it would be basic and we didn't need the swimming pool, better restaurants of the more expensive hotels (and our son liked the sound of the cowboy theme) BIG MISTAKE, this is not basic, and has no comparison to the basic hotel chains in the UK - if you can afford it get the best hotel you can or stay outside the complex at a chain you know you can trust for basic cleanliness. Or better still, save your money and go to Florida!

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

I personally thoroughly enjoy the Wild West theme of the hotel and felt that the hotel fully lived up to expectations in this respect.

Check in was absolutely fantastic - so quick and easy! Very helpful, friendly and welcoming staff, greeting you with "Howdy!" to get you in the spirit!

We were staying in the Running Bear block of rooms, and when we got to the room - after a struggle with the card key which continued for the duration of the stay! - we found it to be clean, well presented and very basic.

There was a double bed and a set of bunk beds, both of which were exceptionally comfortable. The only thing I found disappointing was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities - although these were not advertised I had half expected them to be in the room as I have found that in almost all budget hotels, tea and coffee is available. ***QUICK HEADS UP - hairdryers are a €25 deposit available from Information Reception!!!***

We took advantage of the breakfast for both mornings we were at the hotel. It was a typical French continental breakfast which we both enjoyed. There was a character outside the main reception entrance every morning for pictures with everyone. The shuttle bus was extremely frequent - literally every 5-10 minutes and such a short drive to the park. There is also a walking route if you wanted to walk to the park which I understand takes around 15 minutes.

We ate in the restaurant on the first evening in an all-you-can-eat buffet situation which mainly comprised of barbeque chicken and other meats etc. Quite pricey at around €28 but decent food I suppose, and all-you-can-eat means better value for money.

The main problem I had with the hotel was the shower! It was very cold and when I initially telephoned reception to ask them if they could send maintenance, the lady practically interrupted me to ask if we had tried running the water for at least ten minutes - clearly, from her reaction, this is a very frequent issue that arises. We did find that after running the water for around 10 minutes the shower got nice and hot ready to use.

When we went to use it again the next morning, we made sure we ran the water first for 15 minutes in order to ensure it was heated up before trying to use it. After 15 minutes it was still running cold, so we left it for a further 15 minutes. I called maintenance but there was no answer, so I called reception again to inform them that the water was still cold after running it for literally half an hour - they said they would send maintenance ASAP.

My friend then thought the shower was warming up - I used it myself but found it ridiculously cold so called reception to check on the status of the job to see if the maintenance team were on their way. I was told our job was next on the list so they would only be a few minutes. This was a huge lie as we waited a further hour - missing our early entry to the park - and no one showed up. I was very disappinted with this service and it has deterred me slightly from wanting to stay again.

We were disturbed by extremely rude loud neighbours both nights at around half past 12. I appreciate that the hotel staff weren't to blame but just to make you all aware that the rooms are most definitely NOT soundproof! It was as though they were in the room with us!!!
