This hotel is a typical Ibis, basic but clean and functional. I was surprised how expensive it was, so far from the Paris city center. Rueil is a nice little town however, and it was near enough to the office.
My room was at the back, overlooking a small courtyard. This was great because it allowed me to keep the window open without any noise, be aware the hotel has no airconditioning (or at least it wasn't functioning when I was there) and it gets hot there in summer.
The WiFi was very slow (with the option to pay a premium for more speed), not really usable. The bathroom was small, though I've seen smaller ones. Otherwise very basic but that is the Ibis brand, and I don't need much.
The one thing that bothered me was that it was priced like a big brand hotel. I paid around 140 euro a night and that's really too much for this kind of hotel. In Dublin I often stay at the Ibis for 46 euro and their rooms are twice the size. I know it's in Paris but it's in a small suburb far from the city centre. In that sense I don't think the value proposition is very good.More
