“Nice place”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

We used this hotel as an overnight stay on the way to the south of France. The room (bussiness = smallest) was very spaceous and clean. Nice to have a bath to unwind in the evening. The kitchenette came in very handy for preparing a cup of tea and our baby's food. The motel is pretty new. Definitely better than some other chain motels!
Breakfast was quite expensive for the selection on offer but still better than usual.
We didn't really like the area, but that wasn't the purpose of our visit, so no problem.
Babycot (travel type) was provided, though without the extra mattress that normally comes with it.
Just a bit strange that there is a french door in the bathroom and the bathroom lights switch on and off automatically. I would have liked to be able to switch it of manually at nigth so the room wouldn't have been bathing in light...
Overall good value for money and very comfortable.

Just thought this was a typical French motel when booked, quite a surprise to find a large Bed Sit, everything you could need, had a lovely breakfast. Scrambled Eggs and lots of Tea.
Large room, comfortable bed, big bath, pity the telly only has UK news in English though.
But overall excellent, would defiinatly look for these Hotels again.
The Cathederal in Orleans is Awesome and the reason for the stopover.

OK, it's a boxy, relatively characterless, modern hotel situated on the city outskirts, but for its cleanliness, practicality and value it would be hard to beat and it's worth it's 4* rating. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac, it is free of disturbance. The continental breakfast is superb, service is courteous and efficient, and there's stacks of secure parking inside the hotel's compound. There are many good restaurants - including a brilliant fish restaurant that we used - within 10 minutes stroll.

As with all the Suite-home chain, this one offers rooms with shower inside the bath - apparently our friends from the Far East like baths rather than showers, but if that is a problem for less mobile visitors the hotel has some ground floor disabled rooms you can request.

Central Orleans is a few km away and although we didn't have time to do it properly the centre looked really attractive. And set in a wider context the city is very well positioned as a tour base. The great sights of the Loire through Tours to Angers are just to the west, Blois, Sancerre, Briare are all worth visiting to the south, Auxerre and the Yonne valley not so far to the east, and Versailles, Fontainbleu, Le Mans, Chartres etc all within easy range in other directions.

If you need a rest on your way to Paris from southern France - this is perfect. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds big and comfortable, desk service excellent and friendly, parking safe, breakfast versatile and tasty, you have even a trail to bring suitcases to your room. The hotel is straight on the motorway, there is sauna opened till 22.00 - what more do you need from hotel like this, for God's sake?!

Stopped here on the way to the south. It is easy to find and very convenient for the A10 and visiting Orleans too. There is a Centre Commercial with several restaurants (Steak houses e.g. Buffalo Grill, MacDonalds, Pizza place, Japanese etc) within walking distance for an evening meal. We ate at the microbrewery (Les 3 Braseurs). The beer here was good but food not so wonderful. There is also a Carrefour if you want to use the excellent kitchen facilities that are provided in the suites (fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob, coffee maker, kettle, pans and crockery plus sink for washing up). Wfi also free both in the room and reception. We only stayed one night so did not use the kitchen facilities but would do if we were staying longer. Breakfast is available at €12 pp and is excellent...all the usual bread and pastries as well as hot omlettes and sausages. We would definitely stay here again.

We wanted to stay about an hour and a half south of Paris and the Hotel proved an excellent choice. It was only a few minutes from the motorway. Extremely quiet and well appointed. Comfortable bed, small kitchenette, spacious bathroom. Free secure parking and Wi-Fi. We stayed on a Sunday night and paid, booking direct with the Hotel 70E, a very reasonable tariff. It’s about a five to ten minutes’ drive to the centre of Orleans. It’s situated in an industrial commercial area. The rooms look out onto the car park or semi industrial land. However for the purpose of our stay in was very good. Recommended for a quick overnight stay.

We received a warm and efficient welcome in reception and were soon in our room with our Westie dog. The highly rated trip advisor reviews led us to expect a little more than was the reality. The room reminded us very much of a Travelodge in the UK but with some much appreciated trimmings. The small kitchenette was compact but very useful. For what it was, the fittings were extensive. There were two electric rings, a microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and fridge: pans, crockery and cutlery were also provided. The main room also sported a small flat screen TV with BBC world service news and a radio cassette player. Also in the main room were a couple of canteen type chairs, a small desk/table, a wardrobe and most importantly, everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom had both bath and shower and the usual soaps etc. plus a box of paper tissues.
The hotel is located in a not too refined commercial and industrial area with a number of dining facilities nearby. As such the secure car park was much appreciated.
All in all the hotel is ideal for an overnight stay and at about £70.00 including the charge for the dog we thought that it was good value for money. We would not hesitate to use it again when travelling from the south to Calais.
