thanks brian and marion for our wonderful 5 days. Such a beautiful place to stay, I couldn't imagine better. We also loved our home cooked breakfasts. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing break. The house is set in beautiful gardens up against the rainforest.

We stayed at Cow Bay Homestay for 3 nights and loved it. Marion and Brian are such good hosts and they make you feel special and not as being just any guest. But you have to watch out, when they come over for a drink, you might go to bed much later and with a few more glasses of wine than you had intended ;-)
Marion gave us lots of useful advice on what to do in the gorgeous area, made phone calls for us and booked us on a trip. The room we stayed in, as well as the whole house, was super clean and they even manage to keep the 'jungle garden' looking neat and just fantastic.
We would definitely go to this great place again. Thank you Marion and Brian for an awesome stay at your place.

We stayed at Marion's for four nights in one of the two double rooms. Ours was clean and very comfortable with a pine floor. A chest draw would be a good addition to this room. Marion was a very good host. She made sure we had everything we needed and liked: breakfast was very good and always waiting for us, even very early in the morning! It is well located and isolated in the Daintree forest and it is about 10-20 minutes drive from activities and a 10 minute walk to a beach.

We stayed 2 nights at Cow Bay Homestay and it was fantastic! Marion and Brian are very friendly hosts and know everything about the area. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The house itself was lovely as most of the walls could be opened to the rainforest and we could enjoy the luscious views and relaxing sounds all day and night long. Breakfast was fantastic and I loved the local Daintree tea. Unfortuntely we had cloudy weather for our stay, but the beach that was just a short drive or walk away looked like it would be great on a nice day. Staying in the rain forest was an interesting and relaxing experience...the nights are the darkest I have ever experienced!

We came along on our trip from Brisbane to Cape Trib.
The B&B of Marion and Brian was not only the last of our stays in Queensland, it was also one of the nicest! We were living with the forest (which was our paradise) with our landlords who soon became friends. For us there is no better way to be in Daintree National Park. Perfect place, perfect nature, perfect hosts.
We will always rememder our fireside chats until late at night. Thanks for all!

There's nothing like testing your ideas of environmentalism like living in the midst of the rainforest! Marion and Brian were amazing hosts and educators, and the property is such a beautiful piece of integrated living. The guest room is spacious and clean and the public area is a great place to watch wildlife, read, or chat with the hosts and their neighbors. Don't miss out on at least having a fruit salad in the morning! The very quiet and pristine Cow Bay beach is within walking distance and there is a lot of potential to spot some amazing animals. My wife and I would definitely love to come back to hang out with Brian and Marion over some wine and talk politics all night again.
