i was really looking forward to the cafe but it could have been so much better - maybe they are complacent due to the absolute beauty of their location. some aspects of their tannoy call and polysterene container servicce maybe would be legitimate during high season but on a windy autumn day they could adapt and upgrade to justify the not insubstantial price levels. I was really impressed to see Devon Crab Salad. Pre paying my £11 i waited for my tannoy call with great expectation. The takeawy box was the first disappointment, the size and standard of salad was the next - the crab itself was lovely. i had read reviews talking about local prodcue and being able to order daily newspapers etc - maybe the team has changed as i did not witness any such service. my overall vote would be that they are lucky to have such a unique and remote location that means they can get away with the standards - but they could do so much better
