“Worth seeing ...very pleasant and peaceful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

It is 8 km away from Tirupati. The name of the God is Kalyana venkateswara. After marrying Padmavathi Amma, the Lord Balaji stayed for 6 months in Srinivasa mangapuram. That is why he is called as kalyana venkateswarudu. After that he moved to Tirumala through srivari mettu...this pathway is still there. Many people choose this way to go to Tirumala. This footpath is just one and half kilometer. The darshan of this venkateswara is as equal and as powerful as the Tirumala Balaji. One must have darshan of this lord.
