“PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT”

We had our wedding here and it was perfect.
couldn't ask for a more ideal spot and location. Our guests were interstate so having the accommodation was so handy.
The accommodation was just lovely the breakfast was perfect. For our vintage style wedding it just ticked all the boxes. we hired the farm from the Thursday to the Sunday so it gave us great quality time with our family and friends who travelled to see us before and after the wedding.
There are so many spots on the farm to have your ceremony. The reception hall was a perfect size, clean and open. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Our Photographers had a field day with so many options for photos.
I highly recommend this as a wedding venue.

My sister had her wedding at Mango Hill Farm in November, despite the rain, we all had a wonderful time. A few of the guests stayed in the accommodation which was really nice. The grounds of the farm are very lush and my children loved the Alpacas and the miniature horses.

This was my second visit to Mango Hill Farm. The farm is in Peachester, set amongst stunning countryside in the hinterland behind the Sunshine coast (Beerwah, 15 minutes away has the nearest station). The peace and quiet has to be experienced to be believed. We stayed in Dovecote cottage, a restored queenslander which is the main accommodation on the Farm and absolutely beautiful. Everything is spotless and comfortable. The cottage sleeps 4 in two double rooms (from about $310 pn for the cottage) and there is a shared bathroom and large living/kitchen-diner. The broad verandas are perfect for lazying the days away but there are lovely walks nearby, hens to feed and a resident platypus and his mate in the creek to watch for. There is also plenty to see in the surrounding area (Monteville and Maleny are less than 30 minutes away, as is the beach). The farm also has a cooking school and hosts weddings.

Visitors to the Cottage, which is self-catering receive a welcome basket of goodies and can also order home-cooked vegetarian meals from the owners for the evenings when they don't feel like doing the cooking themselves. Its a bit of a drive if you want to go out for a meal - this is the reason Mango Hill gets 4 stars instead of 5, but peace and quiet does come with a price. Similarly, the service only gets 3 stars because the Farm is self-catering. Peachester, 5 minutes away has a corner store with basic provisions and a good fruit and veg barn and Beerwah has the nearest supermarket.

Other smaller accommodation is available on the farm, but once you have stayed in Dovecote cottage you are spoilt for anything else.

Do go - if you value peace and privacy and are happy doing your own thing, or if you want a weekend away with family or friends;
Don't go - if you want lots of night life

I can't wait for my next visit.
