Been dining at La Rosa for some time now. The friendly and helpful nature of the staff makes it a pleasurable experience and they have recently taken on a new chef who has transformed the menu. The food is delicious, well worth a vist.

Been here a few times now and always had a very pleasant experience. The service is excellent, everyone's really friendly and it's good value for money. I can highly recommend the calarmari and the steak!

We have been dining here since it opened but this is the first review I have done. The restaurant has a nice look and feel and is a relaxing place to have dinner. The owner is really friendly and approachable as are the rest of of the staff.

A new chef came on board a couple of months ago, who is italian and a new menu has recently been launched. The menu has a good selection of starters and main courses and all are available at reasonable prices. There are also specials available. All the food is made fresh to order so you might have to wait a bit but this ensures better quality.

Last time I had mozzarella in tomato sauce to start followed by a pizza, my friend had meat balls and followed it by a pasta dish. We really enjoyed them and the fresh bread was great with it.

We also treated ourselves to the homemade tiramisu - delish!

We are not a big fan of Italian wines but the menu features several rest of the world wines which we like.

So this is a great local place to go and eat authentic Italian food for a evening meal. We have also been in at a lunch time in the past for a quick pasta lunch. I recommend you give it a try.

Visited here on a Saturday night, 8 people. Have driven past it many times as live locally - when friends visited, couldnt decide where to go so on a whim, decided to give it a try - big mistake. At 9 on a Saturday night thought it would have been busier....first impressions were that there was a strange smell when entering the restaurant. Staff were friendly enough though got the impression they were trying too hard to impress....starters were average - prawns ok but nothing special, filo pastry basket on garlic mushrooms was hard and mushrooms tasteless, garlic bread pizza was very greasy - on the good side, the tomato soup was nice. Main courses - had to send a pizza back as it had a hair on it, also the pizzas were disgusting - the cheese tasted funny and there was way too much of it on the pizzas - not one person who ordered pizza (including my son in law who eats anything and everything!!), ate the pizza - we did comment on this to the 'manager?' Wo told us they were fine - well obviously not if no one could eat them (we also noticed that the table next to us didnt eat theirs either!). Steak rossini was average - not great steak but pate was nice. Vegetables served with steak were sprouts (!!!!) and carrots - not what I would expect. Ordered rosemary potatoes which were greasy and although supposed to be served with pancetta, we didnt find any trace of any. As we were leaving another table were also complaining about a hair in their food ! Wont be making a return visit unfortunately.
